Losing Salah changed everything. We were bossing the game and the shift in play when he went off was so blatant. You can't legislate for your gk making errors like that.... It killed absolutely us.

I feel very calm this morning, and I don't know why.

I think it's because we have things to blame. Karius, the Salah injury, Ramos, have given me things to point at, and take my pain and frustrations out on.

If Salah played the whole game, and Karius hadn't made those mistakes, and we still lost, I think I would've found it worse.

Yea losing salah obviously changed the mentality of the teams and more importantly the game dynamics. Milner dinked a beautiful ball over the top on the left side but Lallana couldn't get to it before Navas. If that's Mane, he easily gets there and potentially scores.

I was wondering whether it might have been smarter to play wijnaldum up as a winger as he has played there before and at least has some pace.

With regards to Karius, imo, he's not a better keeper than Mignolet and I don't understand what he did to earn the number 1 spot in the first place. Got to get someone new in the summer.

The first one is particularly galling given how lackadaisical it was, way too casual for a CL final.

I don't understand the absence of retrospective punishments for cheating in football. Surely a panel should review games and incidents and act accordingly. Ramos at least should get a multi-game ban for the simulation with Mane. As for his judo throw on Salah. Words fail me. He's an absolute blight on the game. He's everything that is wrong and detestable in football.

Obviously it hurts but the bigger picture is looking incredible for this club. Just have to let this pass with time.

Still absolutly devastated by that loss as yet again we lose another final. I think that's 4 finals on the bounce now as well as missing out on the League in 2014.

We seem to be becoming experts of falling short at the last minute and it's really frustrating. This must be our worst run of final losses in our history

That is sickening to say the least but the manner of last night's defeat is by far the worst I have ever witnessed. But for the Goalkeeper we have been going into extra time at 1-1 with all to play for.

If we'd have lost the game to some genuine world class play then it would be easier to take but the fact that we gifted them the Eropean cup and basically handed it over to them is the worst feeling I have ever experienced as a Liverpool fan.

The 2014 slip was really hard to take but at the same time a slip is a slip but last night is just on another planet of devastation.

That first goal is something you would see in some dodgy eastern European league where you would be convinced the Goalkeeper was on the take as there would be no other explanation for such incompetence.

This is going to take a very long time to get over just like 2007 did and that still hurts now. You just can't lose European cup finals in that manner.

My anger has now subsided and been replaced with massive disappointment. Karius should be finished at this club as even if Klopp wanted to keep him there's just too much damage that has been done as the next time he makes a mistake the pressure will just be too much.
