No he didn'tOriginally posted by Snigger View PostApparently Bale sat in the LFC changing room after that match with our squad not in the RM dressing room
Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale did NOT spend any time in the Liverpool dressing room after the Champions League final.
Reports on Tuesday suggested Bale had taken 20 minutes out of his celebrations after Real's victory in Kiev on Saturday to console beaten Reds players.
It was claimed the Welshman spent the majority of his time talking to former Southampton colleague Adam Lallana, who he played with at St Mary's in 2006, and international team-mate Ben Woodburn.
However, while Bale did talk with the pair, it was not in the Liverpool dressing room.
Instead, the conversation instead took place in the drug testing room with both players having been called for a mandatory doping test by UEFA after the game.
This was a totally separate room from the Liverpool dressing room. Bale then saw Woodburn in the corridor afterwards, and spent a brief period in conversation.

Come off it. If true it's ****ing unheard of. Opposition player who wins the final sat in opponents dressing room. I understand your possible explanation but it's mental if true.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostNot really.
Most of the Real team seem like cunts.
Ronaldo seemed visibly distraught that Bale had come on and won the match for them. Hardly anyone ran to Bale at full time, despite his match winning display. They all follow Cristiano so they all hate Bale.
I imagine Bale sat in the dressing room looking at Ronaldo and Ramos and thinking - **** this.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Pop in yes. Sat in there instead of his own one, nah.Originally posted by Liverpool View PostDon't think it's uncommon for opposition players to pop in. Few ex Southampton and Welsh lads he knows. Probably being played up to create more talk of a riftAlways borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I don't think we had bad luck. I think there 3 decisive factors resulting in our defeat.Originally posted by Snigger View PostSometimes you have luck in a cup run, other times not - This was a 'not' time - when Millie got that weird own goal then conceded a pen that wasn't it started to look like it wasn't to be a lucky run - There were also a couple of incidents against's Citeh, not least the goal they got from Karius throwing out the VVD - Sometimes you make your own luck, good and bad.
1. Our best player was injured in a foul. I am fairly certain Ramos was trying to hurt him, so it's entirely foreseeable Salah could get an injury from a challenge like that.
2. We didn't have the right profile/ style/ quality of player on the bench to replace him as we would have liked too (i.e. a pacey forward).
3. Our goalkeeper made two inexplicable unforced errors.
Two of the three (2 & 3) were ultimately within our/ our player's control. As for the first point, I suppose there is a slight degree of bad luck in that we had a ****e ref, but it came as no surprise to me that he was ****e (normally are in these games).
So how do you deal with the first issue. Addressing issue 2 makes a big difference. But I wonder if there was someone in our coaching team identifying Ramos as likely culprit and devising a counter strategy (e.g. have someone put the reducer on him early doors/ wind him up with niggly tackles or verbal/ get in the refs ear about very early).

That’s one way of looking at it.
The other is the right way which is that we were incredibly unlucky. In isolation those incidents are not particularly unlucky but combine them - not forgetting the greatest goal in CL final of all time and you wonder how the hell did that all happen to us in the biggest game of the past 11 years.
