We miss Phil. This measured play is crying out for a scalpel.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

We don't look like a team that is fighting for the title while city are second they do look like it,as it stands we could be a team that loses 1 game all season and still not win the title.
A lot would say before the match they would have taken a point, maybe maybe not but what i would have taken is a a bit of passion and atleast make de gea do something he might as well have got straight in his car and go home without a shower as he didn't have 1 thing to do.

Gini played well today. We have been crying out for a number 10 all season and teams realize that now. They squeeze the front and allow the mids more time on the ball.

Absolutely no point bringing sturridge on...might as well have just taken Bobby off and not replaced him

Must admit I'm concerned a little now that we've bottled it. Still a long way to go and there'll be some twists and turns along the way but that second half performance was terrible, really poor and deeply frustrating as well. Gini was fantastic though to be fair.

Not just Phil, we miss Ox too. Both players provided a goal threat from midfield, we've had none if that this season.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Ox's drive from midfield, breaking through the lines would be such a massive thing for us.

Sturridge is a number 9 that needs a number 10 behind him. He spent a lot of time dropping deep which really isn't his game. He can drift to wide areas quite easy, but missing a number 10 will hurt him more than most.

                                Phil though.

Does anyone look dangerous from outside the box? Something for them to think about when sitting back.

Someone needs to make a difference in this scenario, Keita would have been something - committ players.

                                Sturridge was an odd choice.
