UEFA are meeting on Tuesday with a Euro 2020 postponement under discussion.

If that's the case, surely the PL can suspend the season (if needs be) and use the early summer to complete it.

I suppose there’s no guarantee that the situation will be in hand enough by then to allow sports to resume.

I can see why some organisations may prefer to draw a line under their current season and be done with it, rather than leave things up in the air for another 2 or 3 months.

If Euros cannot be played due to the Coronavirus why on earth would EPL be able to in that timeslot!

I think that even if we were mathematically confirmed as champions and if the season were suspended/voided, we would be denied the title.
That's the worst case scenario for me. Ultimately the PL itself would have to decide on that, meaning all the clubs involved, but leaving the unfairness of it aside for a moment, I can sort of see the logic.

That's is the very, very worst case mind you, and I don't want to think along those lines, but with the constant stream of worrying news, I don't think the indefinite suspension of all football is beyond the realm of possibility. I just think we need to prepare ourselves.

Best case.....we win it behind closed doors, no fans, no celebration, no parade

Think we'll end up somewhere between the two at this point. We'll win the league, possibly no relegations, probably increase in number of teams and relegations the next year/summer period for the remainder of the league etc
All manner of possibilities.

Presumably because UEFA need to make an early decision - there are a lot more logistics involved in running that competition than in finishing off the PL season - but Corona might have run its' course by June.

It's further complicated by the question of who will be joining the tournament as play off qualifiers (if it goes ahead) because as things stand they won't have been able to get those games played.

I think if we have the title mathematically secured then there’s no reason why it wouldn’t stand. The big doubt is whether we’ll get enough remaining games in for that to be the case.

I think we could be possibly awarded the title if voted by the other clubs due to the special circumstances, but I can also see the other possibility unfortunately.

Because the Euros this year is in 12 cities across the continent with tens of thousands of fans flying all over every corner of Europe. The league restricts that to fans from the same country travelling within that country (or behind closed doors)

I wouldn't be so sure. Everything has to be wrapped up for the league to stand: winners, European qualifiers and relegation issues. They can't award the title to us and not decide these other issues.

For these issues all the games need to me completed or there will be legal challenges from the sides who are relegated because they believe that they have had a harder set of fixtures than the sides around them. For that reason the season will have to either be completed or cancelled, I don't say anything in between being possible.
