Flat track bully. It’s like the WC last year loads of pens from diving. (Diving is a worry with them, hope VAR helps).

He can score goals. For sure he is deadly. But I agree they look more cohesive without him. Particularly unfit. But as you point out his ego is gargantuan.

One aspect of Kane not starting that bothers me (I've really overthought this lol) is that lately Llorente has been their go-to option from the bench. He practically won them the tie v Ajax. If he's their weapon and comes on, Virgil deals with him all day long no sweat. As it is, imo, Kane will be a sub and as such becomes their first attacking change if chasing the game. Difficult to envisage both coming on. Still back Virg to deal with him obviously, but they'd pump fewer high balls forward, which is obviously what they do for Llorente - food and drink for VVD.

I'm a bit meh about this at the moment. Barca second leg will be the crowning moment regardless.

Think the combination of the long wait, playing an English team and the prospect of getting my head kicked in by Spanish police is dampening my mood.

I honestly think another final loss takes quite a lot of the gloss off the Barca win. Win the CL and that goes down in absolute history, unequivocally.

definitely a similar situation to the Dortmund 4-3.

I think that Barca win goes down as the greatest of the great Anfield European nights regardless. Extra special if we get the trophy to go with it, but nothing changes what the team did that night.

My rational mind think we’ve got it in the bag. The rest of me knows how much it hurts to lose.

I just look at how solid we’ve become and think how well we can approach a game like this. Compare what we are this year to what we were last in the final.

We are better. But yeah Poch is a good coach. I am sure Jurgen will be studying the footage of that second half.

I also think Spurs have the Harry Kane problem. He is going to do everything to play. He is always pretty wank against us (pens aside) and Id rather play then with a half fit Harry Kane.

Yeah, I feel sick. Losing to them will be ****ing awful in a way that will ruin summer.
60/40 in our favor also IMO - we are better as the table has shown but I think we were lucky to beat them at Anfield and the have very good players so it wouldn’t be a shock if they beat us.

I remember when they thumped us 4-1 but we are such a better team then then and unless we get an injury crisis Dejan won’t start. I think we’ll go tried and tested but I wonder if Poch will change it - in the Anfield game when he went to a back 4 they overran us in midfield. Eriksson has caused us plenty of problems so we need to stop him getting free in the half spaces.

I am confident but also worried. I think our sheer will to win will see us over the line - last year’s hurt should drive us on and I hope Spurs suffer stage fright like we did last year. History and tradition are also on our side.

To top it all off my Dad and brother are Spurs fans......nightmare if we don’t win.

Although they had an exciting semi they have really only just about stumbled over the finishing line, whereas we've blasted over on full afterburner showing the world we are truly back as a European Superpower.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I always worry about **** like the law of averages. We've played them twice this season, beaten them twice.

Before the play off semi final 2nd leg recently, Leeds had played Derby three times this season and led 7-1 on aggregate - before getting pumped at home and getting knocked out. This **** bothers me.

Poch is a very good coach and has adapted to us in both games, coming on strong at the end both times.

We're obviously better than them, all over the park. And as you say our experience of CL finals will, or should, stand us in good stead. They'll be a fish out of water. It's ****in Spurs ffs.

But as people keep saying, it's not Spurs that are scary, it's the prospect of losing to them that is terrifying.

Imo it's a 60-40 game. The team picks itself, injuries / Firmino fitness permitting. If I'm betting my life on it, I'd back us all day long, obviously. But it's never straightforward is it, and we've developed a habit of losing finals / not getting over the line, and that **** is hard to shake. I can hardly think about anything else ffs.
                      This

I'm nervous as **** already, I worry about our recent record in finals, and I have something in my head about a Spurs penalty, not sure whether it is something that is given in the game or the game going to a shootout but that is my big fear at the moment, hopefully it is nothing but bad memories of our game at Anfield against them last season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They'll get a penalty when we are 4-0 up and Kane will sky it. That was your dream.

                        Relax.

Just looking at their path to the final. They have met quite a few good teams along the way in Barca, Inter, Dortmund, City and Ajax.

Over two legs they put four past Dortmund, four past City and three past Ajax.

So we will have to earn it the hard way against them.

However I do feel that if we treat them as as big as threat as a Barca or Bayern and go at them the same way, with the same intensity, as we did against those teams that we have more man for man and as a team that them at their very best.

Huge chance for Klopp and the current group of players to permanently etch their names into LFC history and to get the team used to winning big silverware as a collective unit.

Do believe that winning this would act as a springboard for the team to chase down further silverware next season.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
