Simply awesome. This is our year of redemption.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

As regards Karius, watching that back is genuinely painful. Do I think it was concussion? Not a chance, he made the first mistake & his head just went. He singled handily lost us that final, just a genuinely ****e gk. Sounds harsh but I don't care we've moved on to a worldie.

I cannot even contemplate the damage that would be done to the morale in the club if we lose this final. In one respect, we are experienced in playing European finals & in another, we are experienced in losing finals. Spurs are in unchartered territory here and could sink or swim. Yes we have the experience and I believe we are a better team but I am hoping last year & Europa final loss will motivate us rather than add pressure. The lads know what it is like to lose, Jurgen too who has a terrible run of losing finals that final last year and the circumstances of last year must have stung massively. I hope we see a LFC side that puts Spurs to the sword from the get go, welcome to the big leagues you cunts!

One thing about the spuds though is that they do not give up. Fascinating game, will be absolutely ****ting myself on the night but I just wish it would hurry the hell up!! The wait is killing me.

Looking at the 1st Karius mistake again for the first time in about 10 months, it really is much worse than I remember (perhaps I made it better in my mind to ease the pain). I just think that the concussion must have played a part, that is a mistake you wouldn't see in school football. It's as if he doesn't see him there or can't judge how far away he is or something, which considering he had not long before taken a blow to the head seems too much of a coincidence.

I also wonder if the not taking any chances with Fabinho this season was partly as a result of this situation with Karius
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I have to pinch myself everytime this thread is bumped. Honestly, Spurs ffs.

It would've been lovely having Ajax, and our fanbases jerking ourselves silly over our respective European heritage, but instead, we've got a team of wannabes, with Sir Harry of Kane in full ****** mode.

Dr Zafonte said Karius had suffered from "visual spatial dysfunction", a process which hampers a person's ability to process visual information about where objects are in space.

That would perfectly explain what happened with the first goal. No one rolls the ball point blank at an opposition player like that because "he’s ****e".
