After the tears and the heartbreak, I walked over to my parents stereo and put this on and sat in the old arm chair and took it all in again. Its funny how memories, whether good or bad, can hook themselves on to music.

14 years later and I'm waiting for us to lift the big one again, and this song, so bittersweet to me, still drags me in.

Verging on clinical anxiety about his - & I do not say that lightly. Seeing cunts in half & half tops makes it better for some reason tho. Unfettered cunts
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I was 30 too that year. My mum died last September - I held her too and can’t even type that without breaking down. If you don’t love this team with all your heart you don’t equate the 2. It crystallises everything you love & believe in.

I could say loads more- like I am on a ****witted crashcourse off my meds coupled with the biggest comedown ever after a stag do - I ain’t got **** all left right now. Tomorrow is huge man, so huge it makes me tremble to think about getting the train to Liverpool- let alone the match.

Ah, I dunno. Win or lose, this is us. It’s who we are. This is where we have the world’s eyes upon us. Few people get to nail their colours to the mast in such glorious, vulnerable, weak yet furiously strong and fiercely proud fashion.

It’s our colours, live or die by them. This is our show.

I'm proper buzzing about this now. I've not really thought about it or followed the build up but now I can't sleep and feel this is the biggest game we have ever played.

If my car insurance wasn't due this month I'd be in Madrid now.

I watched 2005 in a bar with my bird at the time, 2007 I watched the game in St Lucia and last year I stayed in and watched it with my dad and this year I'll do the same as he's just got out of hospital.

Really really looking forward to this game as it feels different to last uear in so many ways.

Was so nervous yesterday I ended up drinking 7 pints and drinking a bottle of malbec. It was a great idea as I got a good nights sleep and guaranteed I won't start drinking too early today!

I went to that game too, one of the best days ever. Strip club by midday, getting face painted by some Dutch girls in Liverpool Street and totally ******ed by 5pm

Pretty amazing that you're up already

I was up at 4am yesterday and had driven 330 miles to Cardiff and back by 11.30. Decided to stay in the office until 3 and then when I got home forced myself to do some exercise as I knew I'd be on the beer as soon as I stopped doing anything.
