You know i missed the opening 2 minutes of the game.
My wife was away for the weekend and i couldn't get anyone to watch the kids so i invited one of my friends round with his kids. It was a decent afternoon / evening weather wise and the 4 kids had spent a couple of hours outside playing quite the thing. We had a few beers and watched the build up.
2 mins before kick off all hell breaks loose outside and my two are fighting over a toy something or other in the sandpit. Go out to sort it out and come back in a couple of minutes into the game just as Salah is scoring the penalty.Comment

I was sooo nervous, after 2018 so that goal was the perfect ice breaker.
I watched the last ten mins or so and all the post match stuff the other day. Glenn Hoddle destroys the post match stuff by continually bleating about, the quality of the game (Rio Ferdinand even days the final he won with Utd wasn’t much of a game but he couldn’t care less), the fact that Spurs were the better team (myopic) and the fact that it wasn’t a pen (it was).
