BUT if I was a sub and didn't get on, I wouldn't be able to dance about let alone a player in the squad that's never played. That's me. I was an unused sub in a final at school one year, I didn't take a medal and just went home. Next year I played and we won and I celebrated properly. I like winning not taking part.
So being a fan but not part of the squad / bench / team you didn't celebrate at all?
    Really?

That's such a ridiculous thing to say.

Do you also find it hard to celebrate when your friends share good news because you didn't help make their baby, build their business or sit with them in the job interview?

Whatever. Make any assumptions you want to. I've said what I said and stand by it. I couldn't get insanely excited and jubilant like lovren and lallana did if I were them. I'd be happy for my mates, the fans etc but inside I'd be ****ing gutted and angry I wasnt involved in the match. Fair play to them they are either massive fakers or better people than me.

As an aside, I wouldn't want anyone I know winning the ****ing lottery because naturally I'd be ****ing jealous of their luck. Doesn't make me a bad person, but unlike you and some others, I'm too honest in sharing my feelings. If your brain cant comprehend this, I suggest you have a beer and throw another shrimp on the ****ing barbie.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I do actually agree on the point of the reserve players actively (albeit subconsciously) pushing some of the guys who started out of the way. The two that spring to mind are Lovren and Moreno. It’s a fine line I guess.

The likes of Sturridge seemed to pitch his happiness about right.

To be fair to Lallana, I can only recall him hugging his mates and other than that being fairly restrained.

Lottery win aside, would you want your friends or family to succeed or fail?

Genuine question and not trying to catch you out, just interested.

I never mentioned a lottery win. That's just random luck and unless you were REALLY good friends, celebrating could come across as potentially mining them for gold.

As for the other things, they trained with them, they were part of the squad, they were ready to be called upon. It was just as much their victory as the first XI, they contributed and had every right to celebrate.

Honest question, have you ever been part of a successful initiative or team honour?

He’s not going to want to see his friends fail is he??? Unless he is a complete psychopath.

I get it with the Lottery. Seeing your friends land upon unseen wealth through chance will totally change the dynamic. Plus if you know someone who has won the lotto statistically your own chances are massively diminished.

I won £1 on a scratch card I found on the ground yesterday

You couldn't be happy for them and celebrate their good fortune?
