I'd have felt a fraud celebrating if I didn't really contribute.

I think this is an interesting point.

Klopp manages to cultivate a fantastic attitude within the squad where even the guys who don’t play that much seem to get on with it and don’t moan (at least to the press or internally). I reckon he has pitched participation as a two year project including last years run to the final and that everyone involved over the two campaigns has been a massive part of it. Personally I don’t have any issues with that. They will know how individually the exact extent they played off the field (massive, Sturridge talking about how providing opposition in training was a big part of the campaign, that had to have come from Klopp).

Will Lallana take as much pride and regale his kids with stories about his medal to his grandchildren in the same way that say Henderson will? Obviously No. Should he take pride in being part of the club when we won the champions League? 100% yes.

Squad unity is one thing that we seem to have that a lot of our opponents lack, we should be happy that guys like Lallana and Lovren feel like they helped get us across the line. Maybe he fact that they feel o invested is the reason we are doing so well. Everyone is pushing for excellence. Everyone is part of the project.

          I completely agree.

I'm just saying if it were me, I couldn't do it.

3rd keeper is the biggest joke but fair play to klopp like you say.

Yeah, I know what you mean also. It’s difficult to say without being part of it. Obviously they are competitors at heart so deep down they will be disappointed not to feature. But the unity and genuine passion shown by them all at full time was amazing to see.

With Klopp motivating, dripping honey in your ear and offering out hugs I’d imagine even an old misery such as yourself () might even crack a celebratory smile.

He's completely entitled to enjoy the moment and being in the middle of it all.

Celebrating with his team mates doesn't mean he's assuming credit.

I remember a few members of the Italy 06 World Cup winning squad saying that Angelo Peruzzi was integral in their success. Different circumstances, perhaps but it is possible all the same.

Like I said I have no issue whatsoever with any members of our squad or entourage celebrating and enjoying it. It's a credit to the management team for creating such an atmosphere.

BUT if I was a sub and didn't get on, I wouldn't be able to dance about let alone a player in the squad that's never played. That's me. I was an unused sub in a final at school one year, I didn't take a medal and just went home. Next year I played and we won and I celebrated properly. I like winning not taking part.

Surely you like the taking part bit and not just the winning bit then

But if you were a professional footballer who was part of a champions league winning squad, its likely that the training/conditioning that necessitates the role would mean you would have a completely different outlook.

Who knows where Bob might have gotten to in life with this different outlook.

In fact, who knows where I..............

Surely they're used to it by now. Most wouldn't even remember them being successful
