For a winning team that most players scored highly in the ratings, Quansah was one of the lowest with 6.98.Originally posted by Charly View PostScored for the England u21s against Spain in the QFs in a 3-1 win. Quansah and Morton also started.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I understand he hasn’t played a lot so that would contribute but you’d hope he’d at least hold his own in his own age group. Anyway it looks like he’s moving on for game time so I’ll wish him well.

That would be an amazing bit of business imo if we got that for him.
Like him as a player and think he needs a move to get regular game time, but that is a great fee.
Could see him thriving in a team like BHA. They tend to play good football and have the sort of mobile attackers that would provide runs for Harvey to pick out.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I think that this is a sign of how far we have come, Elliott and Quansah are PL quality players who will command fairly big fees, but unfortunately they aren't good enough for us.
I hope we do with Elliott what we did with Quansah and include a buy back option, I think in his case we are perhaps less likely to use it but for players of this type of age, buy back and sell on clauses should be standard
Also under Klopp I think we would have kept them around perhaps out of loyalty, but Slot has a ruthless streak at the moment, it will be interesting to see if he keeps that then he has been here longer and built up stronger relationships with playersLast edited by Exiled_red; 24-06-25, 02:42 PM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Maybe as it’s Brighton and we have Wirtz a sell on clause would be best. Although I think that’s his level to be honest.

Agreed. I don't think it's so much Slot who is being ruthless though (apart from in selections), as the new transfer team. I think there's a story to be told about how Klopp overcame the original team - signed Nunez - and how most of the original team came back once Klopp left - and sold Nunez. Or something like that.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI think that this is a sign of how far we have come, Elliott and Quansah are PL quality players who will command fairly big fees, but unfortunately they aren't good enough for us.

Brighton would be a great club for Harv. He deserves a shot at a regular premier league place in my opinion. He's a great little player, just not good enough for us at the moment. But 10 years ago he'd have been a starter (notwithstanding the fact he'd have been 13). As pointed out - we've come a long way.Last edited by Tatterdemalion; 24-06-25, 11:00 PM.Really?
