Non-LFC folk were behaving like neanderthals last season, criticising Klopp for fielding the ressies against Wolves in the FA Cup, which we lost. We went on to win the Champions League and finished with 97 points in the league.

    Who cares about the uproar.

It'll all be forgotten about should we win the league.

The league and the CL are what matters most, much much more than the domestic cups. The holy grail of the league especially and we need to ensure we get this winter break 100%. **** the FA, play the kids.

From 1:49 onwards, regarding the kids playing the replay, and Critchley will manage that team.

I agree that those three were very poor, but both Fab and Matip from the off looked as if they were a bit worried about over-stretching. Maybe Klopp told them to do what they could but not get injured, maybe he thought they were fit enough to play properly, or maybe ... oh I don't know. But in addition:

+ Origi didn't get into the game until far too late on. He can sometimes be just too laid back.
+ Minamino looked like he was playing out of position or has little confidence.
                + Elliot was very quiet.

I thought the fullbacks started OK, as did Pedro and Curtis but they lost position and seemingly confidence and energy as they realised how poor their teammates were playing.

Those players ought to have been capable of winning that easily. Klopp should send them out again in the replay and tell them to sort it out.

Difficult one this as Matip, Lovren and Fabinho have all been out for a while, all looked ragged. Fabinho you'd expect better so I'm putting it down to an off day, same with Matip but Lovren is poor most of the time anyway so it's no shock to see him **** up as we're used to it but again, tired and clearly not match fit.

Lovren is a worry, he's not a very good footballer even when he gets a run in the team, he's always been brainless and downright ****ing stupid with some of his decisions.

Without Virgil to hold his walking reins he is like a toddler randomly walking into the traffic.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Fabinho and Matip were starting their first games back after a significant period out, they were always going to be rusty. As the senior players in the side I guess the kids look to them for help or guidance through the game and Matip, Lovren and Fabinho just weren't at it today. I think we probably tried to bring back one too many players from injury. Lovren managed to play down to his old level again.

Origi as I said at the start of the match needed to play through the middle, he can play out wide with the likes of Firmino, Salah and Mane, but he's best through the middle and should have been the focal point of the attack today.

I thought that most of the kids did well Williams looks a decent prospect, Jones and Chirivella did well again. Also this is going to sound harsh, but Elliott isn't really ready for these types of games. That isn't based solely off his performance today, he has lots of enthusiasm and ability but his decision making is way off, understandable given his age but I think he really is a couple of years away from making any sort of impact, IMO he needs at least a year with the youth side to develop his game and some experience on loan somewhere.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Agree he wasn’t that bad at all. The experienced clowns inside him were far more culpable than the youngster.

I’m glad the boys have got a chance to redeem themselves as that team can & should do a damn sight better than that. I’d start the same X1 but not have Bobby or Mo on the bench. Hopefully Shaq & Lallana are back & get some game time.

Although he understandably tired I thought Chirevella did well & it’ll be interesting to see if he signs a new contract or not as he’s out of contract at the end of the season is he not?

Klopp has already said no senior players will be involved it will be pretty much the side that played Villa away in the league cup

i think if he was going to sign a contract, it would have been done by now.

He would be a good signing - brilliant on a free - for a team in the championship that plays a bit of footy. A Brentford or a Swansea......

The game was a ****in car crash. The only positive is that none of our players got injured.

Lovren has to go. The only time he is half decent is when he gets a run of games and somehow finds some form. When he comes in cold like that, he is ****in garbage. And he won't ever expect to get a run of games with Gomez and Matip in front of him. So we just need to get rid of him now. Plus his stupid face really annoys me. I can understand why his wife started shagging the gardener.
