Unreal that the FA have brought in what was a pretty pathetic 'Winter Break' and have instantly ruined it by scheduling replays within it.
Ultimately we have too much football. But due to money none of the realistic solutions (less teams in the PL, no replays, no 2 leg CC semis etc) will be countenanced.
Is it not the PL who have given the break... they are independent of the FA and FA cup? Let's be honest, there shouldnt be replays... even extra time and pens is better. AND lets be honest that if we wanted a week off we should have played better or a stronger side yesterday...

Andy Holt, the Accrington Stanley chairman, called for Liverpool to face disciplinary action, but the FA is powerless to challenge their decision. Holt tweeted: “This is a battle the Premier League must win, or they should shut up shop. LFC need censuring and fining heavily.
I think it's sad that the FAC has become devalued.
When I was a kid it was one of the few games guaranteed to be shown live on TV so I've always had an affinity for it.
But IMO the only way it would fit into the modern world of football is if the PL (and maybe every division below) made their league(s) smaller to reduce the number of games and accommodate it properly.

And that's never going to happen.
Agree that it’s sad and also agree that they’re not gonna make the leagues smaller to accommodate- if they proposed that, teams near the bottom (like arsenal) would kick up a fuss, and rightly so.
Also don’t think it’s gonna happen, but I think they should merge the FA cup and league cup. Most teams don’t take either serious, if there was just 1 cup, maybe they would.

I agree, we don’t need 2 domestic cup competitions.
I’d say simply scrap the League Cup though. How would you merge them? All of the teams involved in the League Cup are already in the FA Cup
Edit: just realised you probably mean in an organisational/financial sense.
