He could use the match to get the fringe player who haven’t been playing/ returning from injury etc to get match fit.

i think if he was going to sign a contract, it would have been done by now.

He would be a good signing - brilliant on a free - for a team in the championship that plays a bit of footy. A Brentford or a Swansea......


The game was a ****in car crash. The only positive is that none of our players got injured.

Lovren has to go. The only time he is half decent is when he gets a run of games and somehow finds some form. When he comes in cold like that, he is ****in garbage. And he won't ever expect to get a run of games with Gomez and Matip in front of him. So we just need to get rid of him now. Plus his stupid face really annoys me. I can understand why his wife started shagging the gardener.

The 5th round draw tonight will be interesting given that JK has said we will play the kids in the replay. If we get an easy home draw, it will be seen as a missed opportunity; if we get City away it might be seen as 'managing' the season sensibly...

I used to love the FA Cup but I couldn't care less about it in its current guise, so with that in mind I'm really not arsed about Klopp's stance. It's a shame, but needs must eh.

Completely agree that the FA Cup is going the same way as the League Cup. We need a major rethink.

Bin off the league cup entirely.
Bin off replays in the FA Cup. No extra time and straight to penalties.

I realise this affects clubs like Shrewsbury who need the extra money, but a different solution needs to be found for the inequality in football regardless.

Maybe to stop all this replay stuff they can can come up with the idea of,when a little club is drawn at home to a top club like us they are given the option of switching it to an away match.

Unreal that the FA have brought in what was a pretty pathetic 'Winter Break' and have instantly ruined it by scheduling replays within it.

Ultimately we have too much football. But due to money none of the realistic solutions (less teams in the PL, no replays, no 2 leg CC semis etc) will be countenanced.

He is from Edinburgh, supposed to be a good lad. He was a decent youth player at Hearts then went to Hibs. He has always been a dangerous forward but never really made the step up.
