Thanjk you.

Yep, and in this case there really are no positives. Full stop.
The team now have to lift themselves and respond. They can use it as a motivation for the next game of course, but that's not the same as basically saying that you're glad the unbeaten run is over (as some have) because for some reason it's better than continuing the unbeaten run.
Anyway, going round in circles. Anyone who sees yesterday's defeat as a positive thing needs their head examined.
I love when you use 'going round in circles so here the argument stops' as your reason to claim a victory

Since I've successfully changed the opinion of precisely no one, there's no chance a victory can be claimed (even though you're all completely wrong ). *

Wow Dom, cool yer knick knacks.. let’s give watford some bit of credit- we weren’t playing against the local girl scout team...
There’s no positives?? Think it’s positive that we’re so far ahead, that it doesn’t really affect our chances of winning the league... it’s positive that it wasn’t in the FA cup or champions league... it’s positive that it wasn’t Everton/city that stopped the run... we’ve played ****e the last 4 days, hopefully it will be a wake up call before the FA cup and CL games...
We had a bad day, but don’t let it get ya down... we’re still gonna walk the league, we’re still champions of Europe, still champions of the World [emoji119][emoji119]

I agree that we can relax now about the whole invincibles II thing...but that's hardly a big positive. I don't want the team to be under any pressure in this run-in...and if we put out a team of kids and get beat at Chelsea that would be 3 defeats in 4 matches...and that could create a negative vibe, which is absurd given our position.
I guess we are in such uncharted territory - 22 points clear at the end of Feb and everyone saying we are one of the best ever - that it's difficult to know how the players will deal with this psychologically. I hope Klopp just tells them to keep it simple: play each game as it comes. We will need to be resilient because Everton and Citeh are waiting for us and would love to create a mini crisis for us...If Citeh keep winning those 4 wins will become harder and harder. But I expect us to come roaring back against Bournemouth.
I think its pretty clear, players looked too confident trying high percentage stuff of later. I'm loathe to say complacency set in as they've been record level consistent but for for a month now has been poor, and if we've a chance of beating AM, we needed a reset of sorts.
Now we don't have to win every game of the PL season, if we went down to five to go it would have taken on more importance for sure, but without some rotation it'd have been unlikely to win the FA cup and CL and win all the PL games. Now that's to one side.

“But of course sometimes a little knock is important. So I don’t see anything negative in it. From time to time if you are not good enough you need to see effect.
“So restart. Maybe the longer the run goes maybe it becomes more important. But I didn’t see that today. Now it is over.

“Now I see it rather positive because the closer you come to these records … I am not bothered, but I am not sure how other people think about it, so now on we can play free football again, we don’t have to defend or try to get a record, we can just try to win football games again and that is what we will do.”

Plus it will be a positive if the Watford is the straw that broke the camels back as far as Lovren is concerned. If this leads to Klopp bombing him out of LFC, then it's a big positive result!!!

That would be the most positive outcome! Didn’t even think of that- probably because in order to stay in a positive state of mind, I needed to blank his existence out of my mind!
Absolutely, sky have been all over this. Unnecessary pressure on a fabulous team. Bad day at the office but it was coming. Kick in the arse for the lads, watch the reaction.
So a week on, I think I would have preferred winning the Watford game and winning the Chelsea game.
I guess the reaction didn't come in the way you envisaged.
But still, a new record of home wins today, so I guess we'd better lose the next one, so as to keep the unnecessary pressure off, right?
