Good performance so far. Some good play, decent chances and a good goal. Everton second best all over. Conceded from losing a header in the 6 yard box after the best CB in the world was taken out of the game unfairly. Can't complain really.

That was a ****e through ball to Firmino, Mane went through a similar period where all his short passes were woefully underpowered, Salah and Firmino seem to be suffering the same.

I think Adrian has been solid so far, some good sensible decisions and I'm happy to see him booting the ball rather than trying to keep hold of it.

Give it a rest ffs. What keeper doesn't do exactly the same thing? You're taking the dodgy keeper narrative and running off with it into the distance. If that was Ali doing exactly what Adrian did that half, the keeping wouldn't even have been mentioned.

Salah and Mane should have scored 1 (more) each. The goal was a bit of a nightmare, but hey it was the first few minutes without virg on the pitch in almost 2 years. We'll need some time to orchestrate things without him. There will be more chances, ****ing frustrating but far from dire.

Pickford better be sanctioned for that retrospectively. Will be disgusting if he isn't facing a lengthy ban for that.
