Definitely rested though? Not any other reason?

    Edit: oh yeah, he’s suspended.

Not that I am aware off (not that they tell me anyway tbh).

Hendo and Trent so far not moved from the bench in the England game either.

He's suspended for the game tonight

EDIT - Pepe mentioned it above.

VvD and wijnaldum playing are the only dark spots. Hopefully they are both good to go.

Scores 2 & 1 assist vs Sweden tonight so he’s in good form. Played 88 mins though.

We’ll be 3-0 up by the time Bobby comes on bud.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Klopp says no Keita tomorrow. Alisson "very very positive" but not ready yet.

I am. Thiago should start and **** me he looks bang in form from what we saw at Chelsea and the training video. I expect the intensity will be easy in a derby and if on fire i doubt Everton will come close to living with it.

Yep. They have to win against us at some point. And for once they are the form team.

I reckon we'll be on it, but so will Everton. It'll be be a fascinating game.
                      Oh I don't know.

And that concludes my impression of Alan Shearer.

                        Or was it Jermaine Jenas?
                        Oh I don't know.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Think its going to be a football lesson......probably 4 goals for us there.

Going to be such a reaction from the Villa defeat, you'll wish we got battered by 7 goals a long time ago. Or something.

Yeah. I think we will be fired up.

People forget. We were brilliant v Arsenal, and fairly brilliant v Chelsea.

That Villa game was a weird one. Perfect storm of bad attitude, soft early goal, few deflections and a lack of infield leadership.

Tough game tomorrow, but I’m optimistic.

Oddly I'd be very worried had Villa not happened, but that has to be the ultimate rocket up their arses. With Sadio, Henderson and Thiago (hopefully) back I think we'll be a different proposition. A bigger worry than their form for me is how Ancelotti has been a bit of a bogeyman for us with Napoli - he's good at nullifying us. But will he be as negative as usual with them playing so positively and having seen Leeds and Villa have success by going at us?
