Aren't they (TV companies) getting almost none of the money?Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIf they were selling enough, they'd live with it.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I see this quite often on here. People feel the need to highlight that they think Mane is our best forward, as if making a statement. People often abbreviate on forums, so it's intentional writing the extra words, rather that Mane.Originally posted by BootRoom View PostGreat left-foot cross from our best attacker.
Why is that?
I don't often remember hearing Suarez, Torres, Fowler were the best in our team. In the world, maybe, in the league, definitely.
This post is just one example of many. Can anybody explain why they feel the need to emphasise this in their posts?
(Obviously all those players have been called similar in a descriptive sense, if Liverpool lose Suarez, they lose their best forward etc. I'm talking specifically as a label or statement, "Suarez- The best forward at Liverpool", "A great goal from our best attacker".If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yep, there's is a whole Mane vs Salah weird little internet super-fan battle. It's been going on for a while. I've seen in on Twitter mainly, rather than here. It's beyond odd. Why you have to put two of the clubs best players up against each other to point score online is beyond me. Can't they both just be brilliant?Originally posted by RedReet View PostI see this quite often on here. Aye, that's how I have perceived it, as a subtle dig at Salah for some reason, but thought I'd ask rather than accuse.Originally posted by Pablo View PostYep, there's is a whole Mane vs Salah weird little internet super-fan battle. Although I'm on Twitter, I never read comments, so didn't realise it was a two way battle going on, only noticed it with Mane. Or maybe I have also picked my side and just haven't realised I'm doing the same thing.

Yeah it’s certainly a bit odd (from the best poster on est1892)Originally posted by RedReet View PostAye, that's how I have perceived it, as a subtle dig at Salah for some reason, but thought I'd ask rather than accuse.
