Maybe a bit in the first half, but we were dominant second half. I dont recall being even remotely concerned that they were going to score.

Last 20 I felt comfortable and the pen was a joke but we are so much better than that showing. Take the 3 points any day though

They were VAR assisted, and going a goal behind is massive in terms of momentum. Especially when it is so unjust. It took us maybe 20 mins to wrestle back control and we were solid from then on.

Hendo is great in games like this, keeps the entire team focused.

Also look at how hard our games have been so far.

We've played the teams in 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th. Add to that Arsenal home and Chelsea away. This game was also on the back of an away game in the CL.

My biggest worry is how we keep the players fresh. Sooner or later we are going to have to make changes. I suspect we will see a lot of them on Tuesday.

Gaining points on whoever doesn't change the performance and imo we were poor. Thought we were out fought and out worked and so many poor individual performances. Anyways 3 points is most important so performance is fine once points are got.

No, Dan. I think you’re maybe fixating on a period in the first half.
But over the 90 mins, that’s just not true. Fair to say we weren’t at our best creatively, but the fight and effort was there. It wasn’t pretty, but were still more than worth the win.

Pretty much every champion does - this season is going to be a grind.....too many games, Covid, no crowds and more. Just win the game

Got to admire out character. Went a goal down, never panicked and got ourselves back slowly into the game by keeping our cool and eventually we broke them down. Kept them at bay comfortably despite them putting a bit of a shift. I'm taking these kind of grinding wins all the time.

Agree but the first half was terrible with little to no movement up front & when there was we didn’t give the pass. A real disconnect between midfield & the front three.

Pleased to grab all 3 points when VAR screw us over like that.

Definitely a sign of a rock solid will power and mentality. We never seem to be affected by going a goal down.

If we can get Thiago integrated and figure out how we rotate for the amount of fixtures then I think we will take some stopping.

Need to ensure no more than 6 defeats this season and I think we are right in the mix.

Look, it wasn’t vintage... it wasn’t pretty... we’re dealing with injuries and Jürgen changing the system didn’t help... VAR gifted them a pen... we scored two good goals and we’re unlucky not to get a third. We’re joint top and all our rivals are dropping more points than us... We can only get better, more fluid and more clinical in front of goal. I’m taking three points every day of the week. Win ugly, but win.
