Probably Milner and Shaq at CB for this one.

I can't wait for this game; I am so excited. We finally have some central defenders to choose from. OK, they will not be as good as the ones we would like to pick, but there'll be pace and height and nouse and it should enable us to play closer to our natural game. with full backs really pushing on and getting in amongst the opposition's defence. And our corners...we will have someone to aim at now, someone causing mayhem and taking their best headerer out. And.... And....

              Breathe.

Season starts now. First might be unrealistic but we should continue to fight. Not getting CL qualification would be unforgivable. Finishing below Utd would be embarrassing. We need to build momentum and take it forward to next season. We can't give up.
                Another MASSIVE game

I've seen a fair bit of Kabak and I think he is at the same level as Matip, once he settles and plays how Klopp wants him to, I suspect we will see a Kabak Philips/Davies pairing but we are a few weeks away from that yet. I suspect a Kabak-Fabinho backline (if Fab is fit) for sat.

Well said. Completely agree. I think we're all sick and tired of the makeshift side.

I know Alisson didn't have the best game last week but I still think we should play a GK

Might as well play both new CBs, let's make sure our midfield is the strongest it can be - Fab, Hendo and Thiago.
                          James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

                          Curtis Julian Jones Fanclub #1

Still curious as to what the pecking order is, presumably of the centre backs ('by trade') that we have Kabak is no 1, interested to know the relative positions of Phillips and Davies at the moment. I would like to see a Kabak and Davies/Phillips partnership for this one, but suspect it will be Kabak and Fab...

Yeah if possible I'd go with this approach. They'd make a pretty good defensive shield for the two new CBs too.

Is Davies available? Why wasn't he on the bench the other day?
