    Here’s the 3am take.

I want us to win. It’s not even winning the league now, but the ‘**** champions’ click bait from Keane was annoying. This team produced two back to back miracle seasons, so to have that written off was pretty galling.

I want us to be better, obvs. Obvs. But... I can’t feel negatively about this team no matter because of the joy they have brought me. I will forgive everything this season because of what went before it.

And I did life is from nothing: this season is capable of throwing anything towards us. Let’s wait and see. But no matter what. Let’s allow this team the latitude because of the good times it created.

Pearls of wisdom from night owl Buzzo - the team has earned our patience because of the insane levels they have hit over the last few years. They gave me a lot of joy in an otherwise semi joyless world and for that I am thankful.

The bull**** talk of worst champions or the players don’t care a ****ing joke. These guys have been 120% at it for almost 3 years - they squad has been decimated by the worst injury crisis I’ve ever seen at a club and yet they are still top 4. Yes it “hurts” watching and I can understand people not tuning it to save what shreds of mental health they have left and for me that doesn’t make people fair weather fans.

I am invested and have watched the rock bottom and the top - I’ll watch later and to be honest I think we’ll lose. Some of the players will be playing through mental and physical fatigue, others will be playing through injuries but none of them will not care - it’s not who they are and Klopp wouldn’t allow it.

      Up the Reds

        Exactly my thoughts.

This team hasn’t gone bad in one season. It’s a bit **** at the moment but they need our support, even from afar.

The thing which has put me off recently is the match threads, not our team under performing.
        Are we winning?

Lack of doping is hitting us hard this season like city last.

I only started talking about the UK and PL experience when it was brought up specifically in reply to my post.
              2. Bundesliga - they were relegated in 18/19, so it's still not top flight experience. Would imagine it wouldn't be too different to the Championship.

Yeah, I was agreeing with you.

I’m kind of hoping we start or new CBs today (or one of and Philips), yes I know they never played in this team before, yes I know they never played together and yes I know it’s a risk but I think the balance and confidence of the team will improved with an actual CB partnership.

Telling other people "not to care" is the problem though. Keep it to themselves would have been the sensible thing to do.

That’s not too bad for 3am after a reasonable amount of booze
. Meanders a bit in the last paragraph but no worse than I normally do. I’m zen about it all today. I’ll watch, and I think we will win.

Looking forward to seeing at least one of the new fellas.

Each to their own, but taking to a match thread to announce it and tell the rest of us we should do the same is unnecessary. Do what works for you and get on with it and let others do the same.

Thiago benched. Bench definitely lacking a centre forward type fella.

I thought Thiago needed a rest as he's played for successive games for 4/5 weeks.

Davies not even making the bench... injured?
