Alisson had a bad a day but it happens.

Usually GD correlates extremely strongly with points total.

West hams position is very fortunate, there is a clear gap between Chelsea, Liverpool and city.

Hopefully it's a wake up call, if they turn around the form now just before Xmas they're still well positioned going into the most critical part of the season.

We never adjusted to them counter attacking behind our fullbacks. Fabinho and Hendo did a poor job covering. Attacking, Mane missed two sitters. Robertson looks way off.

It's only a difference of one point but a loss today rather than a draw could be huge for us in the long run. Fingers crossed.

Robbo and Mane offered nothing today. Trent got targeted so our outlet was on the left and both of them wasn’t good enough. But fair play to West Ham their plan was spot on.

Their plan was spot on and extremely transparently obvious. What could Klopp have done to change their thinking? Bring on Tsimikas. But he didn't. Fair enough, he knows things better than all of us so didn't make that change.

I remember when Robbo and Mane were literally unstoppable marauding down the left… ahhh the memories. **** today.

**** game to lose, we were the better team and early decisions went against us really. Their first goal was a foul and Cresswell should have been red carded. I thought Tsimikas should have played ahead of Robbo as he has been the better player this year but his time will come soon. West Ham played mostly with men behind the ball and it was difficult to move them around. We needed to be clinical and our final pass perfect and control the game a bit better.
                Are we winning?

we were so sloppy & ponderous on the ball, their game plan worked perfectly & we could not adapt; when Bobby doesn't play it shows in these games.

i think the line up was wrong today, Konate should have played as he is a monster in the air; i get ox/Robbo starting, but i personally would have gone with Timi & Thiago

100% this was a Konate VVD game. The size of West Ham’s attacking threat from corners and free kicks was really, really predictable. For all Matip’s clever ball running out of defence, he gets bullied all day today… Needed Ibou to thump Antonio early doors to send a message.

We looked vulnerable from every corner.. Ali didn’t help himself either, poor today.

To be fair if Alisson doesn't **** up we don't lose this game. Thought Mane was culpable for the 2nd and 3rd also I think and missed sitters. Matip done ok today, I'm more concerned about how easy it is to get through our midfield which is offering nothing in the form of protection for the defence.

We made individual errors, we didn't play well as a team, we got out fought and out worked, Klopp showed a lack of urgency in subs and I didn't agree with him starting Ox and Robbo and yeah Cresswell should have been sent off imo.

                      Was a bit of a **** show.

I’m still not sure about the Cresswell tackle. Not convinced there was enough force behind it for a red card and it did appear to be the ball that sent his foot upwards. Surprised Klopp focused on two marginal decisions.

We can blame individual mistakes from the GK or strikers for missing chances that they should have scored, or the referee/VAR official for some poor decisions, all of which contributed to the result
For me there is a balance issue with the side and it has come up time and time again with we have played decent sides this season, we saw it today, against Brighton, Brentford, Man City, Atletico and even AC Milan, the midfield are getting cut through too easily the balance isn't right there and it hasn't been all season.

The other thing is the desire doesn't seem to be where it was a couple of years ago. After their first goal and the potential red card you could see the players were wound up, a couple of years ago they use that feeling to dominate the game and push on for the win. Today we just looked whiney after that and it looked like we were expecting the ref to help us out, rather than making sure ourselves that we won the game. I knew at that point that we weren't going to win today. Not sure where that attitude or missing desire has gone, but it seems to have left us.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I agree to a point on attitude, but i think they have got a bit cocky with it TBH; how many flicks, backheels were on parade today & virtually all of them failed, not just from front three; Robbo, Ox, Hendo , TAA were all at it. They need to get back to basics & do what they did against the Mancs & keep it simple, but ruthless.

I was at it unf. Didn't see their first as was too far away. But as all teams do, they just sat back and we resorted to crosses into box with midgets. Went for it too much at 1-1 then got picked off. Game over. Ox is ****. And thiago is a slug. Need some decent midfielders.
