No, VVD's the only one that came out of that game with any merit. The blokes a beast and saved us multiple times.
Klopp's only flaw is he's too loyal and plays favourites. There is absolutely no way Robbo deserves his shirt at the moment. He's been awful. Tsimikas has not put a foot wrong when he's played yet gets made to watch Robbo smack balls into the first man and scuff crosses into row B. Also sticking with Ox as though he's proving a point. The guy is just not the same after his injury. I wish he was, but he's not. He should've been sold and new blood brought in after Gini left."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Because the ball was slightly behind him when he made contact so difficult to direct. Neither a useless ****, or an idiot. Mane had a good game and was unfortunate not to score.Originally posted by Harv View Post**** from the lot of them.
Mane has to get that on target, why's the useless **** heading it back a cross the goal where its easy for the keeper to get a hand/finger on it?? Just nod it into the near corner you idiot.
Ox was a passenger in midfield as usual.
Hendo needs to cut out the ****ing back heels and flicks. He's thinking he's Zidane out there after that pass to Mo the other week. Can someone let him know he's not and never will be. Stick to what you're good at mate, running your arse off chasing the ball around like a dog and putting people under pressure.
Robbo is sooo **** now, cant cross to save himself. What the hell has happened to him?

Posted this in the Alisson thread but it really should be in here:
The two early VAR calls I thought were both wrong, having seen them again this morning these are my thoughts:
The goal - I think that this is 50-50, is there contact on Alisson? Yes - but that doesn't necessaily make it a foul. The big question is does the contact stop Alisson from clearing the ball? Having seen it again I am not sure that the answer to this is yes, which I think is where the problem for VAR is. There is contact on Alisson's right arm but I am not sure that without that contact to the arm he is able to clear the ball. I think that the fact that his left arm gets contact on the ball undermines the argument that he could clear it with his right, as the contact doesn't cause his body to turn. I think the degree of uncertainty as to whether he could have cleared it is why the goal was allowed to stand. But as it is IMO a subjective call, I think that the ref should be called over to the monitor and make the decision himself.
The Cresswell one is a shocker, I thought it was a red when I first saw it, and the more I see it the worse it gets. I have absolutely no idea how VAR doesn't see that as a red, OK he gets the top of the ball bounces off it over the ball into Henderson's right leg, meanwhile his othe leg goes around Henderson's left leg into the back of his knee it's as clear a red as you are likely to see. Shocking decision. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That's a problem with VAR, they look at it as a possible red card if they decide it isn't a red the ref's original decision stands which in this case was no foulOriginally posted by RichC View PostThe Creswell tackle wasn't even given as a foul was it ?
I mean even those who don't think that it's a red must think it's a yellow.

If you can hit the ball and as a result end up catching a player knee height, studs first, then you’re not in control and it’s reckless. It’s a clear red for me, and couldn’t believe that the ref didn’t even give a free kick.
I think both var decisions were wrong (even though I know that I’m normally biased in these situations) but I’m more annoyed with the performance. Very frustrating how inconsistent we have been this season so far- in the last 2 weeks we had 2 amazing performances against United and athletico and 2 crap performances against Brighton and west hamI don't tip

He wasn't going for Henderson's knee.

I know he wasn’t going for his knee, but if you don’t have control of where your foot goes after it hits the ball then you don’t have control of your foot, surely.I don't tip

I have no idea how to embed these so they're links for now. These are the 3 things that annoyed me. People say Allison was at fault for the first goal. I dont think hes 100% at fault. Watch when he goes for it. The guy in front of him jumps back INTO him, added with his arm being up and purposely stopping Allisons right hand from raising, he didnt get the lift or reach he would have wanted. If he hadnt jumped back and just upwards to head the ball, I believe Allison had plenty of reach to get the ball, if not deflect it some with his hands. Thats obstruction in my book. Especially since the attacker didnt even head the ball.
Henderson total red card. Ignoring that the foot bounces off the ball and goes into his right leg, had the ball just gone forward and his foot not bounce off it, he would have studs first into Hendersons left leg. Either way its studs to leg. Thats a red card.
Arnold suffered a studs first challenge too. Its hard to see the contact, but watch as the opponents leg is coming down. Its like his foot is pushing Trents leg down. Thats a blatant studs first. Red card.
Once again VAR decide to do us one.

I think the case that he bounces off the top of the ball would be a better defence if his second leg didn't come in around the back of Henderson's other knee. That to me suggests both feet off the ground and he is out of control. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
