Stills can make anything look worse but this is dangerous and well over the ball - modern rules dictate this should be a red

Its well over the ball, but his foot was deflected upwards off the ball, the foot took off in another direction and upwards towards the knee. Could've been a red for sure, but I understand why it wasn't given.

I am genuinely baffled as to how this wasn't a red on VAR, even if he gets the ball it's still two footed and out of control.

Also no idea how the ref doesn't even see it as a foul, the rule that it's either a red on VAR or the refs decision of no foul stands is crazy in situations like this.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Creswell manages launch a two footed, off the floor challenge on henderson. kicks henderson on the inside of his right knee, scissors his left leg and is nowhere near the ****ing ball. These refs and var bellends just dont understand

We made individual errors, we didn't play well as a team, we got out fought and out worked, Klopp showed a lack of urgency in subs and I didn't agree with him starting Ox and Robbo and yeah Cresswell should have been sent off imo.

              Was a bit of a **** show.

We also ****ed up tactically on corners. We were scared of their height so went zonal, which I can understand, but it just gave them free rein to do what they want - they had 3 corners, scored from 2 and hit the bar with the other.

This is exactly what I thought when I saw it at the time, but having watched it again later -

It was a foul, 100%. A dangerous foul

No red “due to the intensity”

It was indeed over the ball, but it didn’t have much forward momentum so wasn’t a particularly dangerous tackle imo. Nobody is getting a leg broken by that tackle. But for ref not to even blow the whistle was ridiculous.

I think he way his left foot bounced off the ball then into Hendersons knee and
he slips on his right and wraps around him makes it look a lot worse than it was.

It was a bit of freak incident with no malice and I don't think it was dangerous despite what the slow mo/freeze frame shows.

More more annoyed how we played than that.

Alisson was **** today - should have saved all three to be honest.

If Henderson studs were planted then it could have been nasty as ****

**** from the lot of them.

Mane has to get that on target, why's the useless **** heading it back a cross the goal where its easy for the keeper to get a hand/finger on it?? Just nod it into the near corner you idiot.

Ox was a passenger in midfield as usual.

Hendo needs to cut out the ****ing back heels and flicks. He's thinking he's Zidane out there after that pass to Mo the other week. Can someone let him know he's not and never will be. Stick to what you're good at mate, running your arse off chasing the ball around like a dog and putting people under pressure.

Robbo is sooo **** now, cant cross to save himself. What the hell has happened to him?

he was 100% out of control, foot over the top of the ball and makes contact just under Hendo's knee. It was a dangerous tackle imo, yes you can do still frames and make things look worse etc but he was out of control and he was lucky as you said that Hendo's foot wasn't planted or that he wasn't standing face on.

Their are many many sub standard officials in the premier league and football in general but Stuart Atwell is imo the worst.

It’s a tough competition to be fair but Coote and Moss are worse
