I thought we actually were full of energy - did t look tired to me, we hounded them and kept winning the ball back. We lacked quality or good decisions in the final third - in so many games a set piece has made the difference for us but the quality was poor.

Salah won us many points with a bit of magic but he looks “normal” these days - I’d like to see him back up his big talk with performances tbh. Trent defended really well but was wasteful when attacking

I still see City dropping points - away to Wolves and West Ham will be tough for them but they’ll have rest. I think if we win tonight they may have shat the bed tomorrow - their heads must be gone and carrying injuries + tired legs also

Not over but much harder now

Disappointing that we don't seem to be taking the league to the final game of the season, but we all knew we would have to be perfect for that to happen and tonight it was just a little too much. I'm frustrated, but all that has changed here really is that our chances of winning the PL have widened from perhaps to unlikely.
      Really?

Thought Tsimikas did well when he came on. One particular early cross of his created a great chance. Needed more of that tbh and something we didn't have before he came on. Hope nothing serious for Robbo but either way I'd have Timmy starting the next game.

I think it was more the mental sharpness we were lacking, except Diaz.

If anyone watched the Madrid v City game then we know absolutely anything could still happen. It’s how motivated the teams City have left to play will be. Newcastle have to be up for it for the Oil kudos. Southampton are ****ing gash now.

West Ham in bad form but need the wins. Wolves always cause City problems.

            Just need to keep hoping.

Yeah, I thought we played well. Put Spurs under pressure for long spells, but they had 10 players behind the ball and were breaking at pace when our attacks weren't prepared properly and it allowed them to break our press.

Can't see much fatigue in this team, some of our play in the first half was fantastic. It's easy to be down and negative after a draw, but we need to go again.
              Are we winning?

It’s going to be hard now. For sure. But you never know.

Compromising what? It would be criminal to down tools on the league now ffs.

We thought it was long gone in December anyway. Did great to cme back a make a fight of it.

Losing 2/3rds of your best attack to every minute of an international tournament mid season is bound to catch up with you somehow, even if you mange the results at the time.

Even without a late twist in the league, we've still 2 massive finals to make this a great season.

They are the second form team in the League this year aren’t they? But they did look ordinary against us

Would rather not have heartache last game of the season so in that respect, the finals are the focus now. If Citeh somehow fall apart after Real Madrid, that would be great but massively unlikely. Even a draw looks unlikely from those games they have left… think we’re more likely to drop points again than they are..

Hardly downing tools. Put finals as priority as they are the big chance to win. Rotate squad in league and the fresh legs may actually be a bonus. We have a big squad, use it.

Compromises in performance, our key men looked ****ed. It happens. First half we pressed hard, second we looked bolloxed physically and mentally. Finished with a whimper. Spurs done well today and kept our good chances to a minimum.

Mental sharpness and decision making in the final third - we ran them into the ground but were blunt in attack

Villa becomes v interesting now - I think we need to rotate and it will be tough
