Not really fussed. Was out for my nephews 30th birthday meal and watched a bit of the match on my phone.

Try not to take footy too seriously any more, better for my mental health.

I'm still hopeful City will drop points before the season is up, someone will spring a shock against them I'm sure.

No it isn't, if we'd have won and City drew, we'd still be top. Now City can get away with a draw. That draw would probably the only points City drop from here on in, so opportunity blown.

Plus the GD is down to two..

Yes it is. We were a point behind going into this round. If City also draw then that’s still the case…

If we had won and City then win as expected, then same again too.

Sorry I misread, you're right it is as before but with another game gone and the with the only points City were likely to drop.

So yes same position points wise, but in a poorer position to capitalise.

Yeah it’s one game fewer, which isn’t ideal. But I’d take it now.

It’s not over until it’s mathematically done.

The reason we lost that game was Trent going AWOL when Kane had the ball prior to their goal. I could forgive him this if he had went to mark Son instead but he didn’t, he just wandered about in our box like a massive div and let Son have a tap in.

We didn’t lose the game, although I know it feels like it.

Yep. That was strange. Left Kane in so much space, turned his back on him.

Actually, just watching it back and it was a defensive cluster**** which led to the goal - unfair to apportion all the blame on Trent.

Konate and VVD both in no-man’s land when Kane played the ball to Sessignon. At this point, one of should have stayed with Kane and the other moved off to cover Son

Didn’t happen though, for some reason VVD moves toward Sessignon leaving Son totally unmarked for an easy tap in, criminal at this level.
