Every week for a period of 6 weeks? (4 more in 12 days in November).

We saw it at the business end of last season because we played every game of every competition. But 9 games in October is not normal.

There’s be at least a League cup week chucked in. And no mid week PL games typically.

Not normal to have back to back PL and CL for that many weeks in a row, they’ve condensed the CL group stage to fit the WC.

If they drop points to United on Sunday, and if we win our games and our game in hand, we could go ahead of them with a win….

A lot of “if”s, I know, but I wouldn’t say we’re in a place where it doesn’t make any difference what they do, just yet…

This is gonna be a crazy season, with the World Cup, a game every 3 days, 5 subs, and the 3rd-6th place teams all after improving. If we can get back to standards we set the last few years, a title challenge is still very much on the cards- another big “if” though!!

I absolutely agree that could happen but we are not physically able to keep up with City this season. Maybe next. City would need to finish on around 88 points or less for us to win the league in this disjointed and injury hit season.

Hopefully, Pep will leave this summer.

It's not that bad. Games we must win: Brighton, both Rangers, Forest and Leeds. Draws against Arsenal, Ajax and West Ham are fine. And a loss against Abu Dhabi makes no difference.

So we need five easy-ish wins in a month. Doable. Anything more a bonus. Anything less and it's a looooonnng season if it isn't already.

It bloody does. Any season we ran them close and fell short , turning one draw against them into a win would have won the title. In close seasons we pick up more or less the same amount of points as them against the rest, so getting four points against them or better can be crucial.

The games against them are the only games in which we can directly impact their season and vice versa.

Read the room Jaco and Mr Pink. You know I'm not a pessimist on here. But this season we were done within a few games (and many injuries) into the season. We need to get top 4 and that's it.

A draw with Brighton in that regards is not disastrous. It's within my expected toleration. Now we just need to beat West Ham instead along with the other predictions I made.

With so many poor individual performances, and a lack of real squad depth, I’m not sure what Klopp can do to change things. We don’t look like a top four team.
