Strangely dead on here this morning, but this is a key time for us. It needs to be when things get serious and committed, and the performances get better. Ibu, Virgil and maybe Trent will be a bit down for a bit but Hendo ought to be motoring, Darwin glad to be back amongst good players again, Fab focused at last, Ali sanguine as usual and the rest - particularly Mo, Robbo, Joel, Thiago - well rested and fully recovered. Should be fun.

        Not really imo.

The last LFC game that meant anything was five weeks ago and no solid transfer news floating about either.

I reckon some people have gotten used to zero footy of note and are not paying as much attention to anything LFC related as they did. I know I certainly fall into that camp atm and rarely bother to check the footy forums at present. Have found the break from footy to have been unexpectedly pleasant and easy.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Transfer speculation is 99% horse **** so I just wait until there’s firm info before commenting. And there’s not much else to talk about until the game build ups and match threads. The ownership stuff is like the transfer gubbins, lots of noise but nothing reading until there’s some official info.

Nice, not as entertaining as David Dunns attempt though

same, what can you say really. Things will ramp back up now with domestic leagues and jan transfer window kicking in.

I've read over the last week that we are close to deals for about 8 different midfielders, plus a few other players, silly season at the moment for transfer stories.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I hope the link with Amrabat is true, he looks like a natural successor to Hendo.

Was very impressed with him in all the Morocco games I watched. Him and Bellingham would be an amazing upgrade on the midfield.

Toney stretchered off tonight, maybe our luck is genuinely changing

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

If we want to get a top 4 finish, getting in another CM is absolutely imperative. It is genuinely the same issues in nearly every single game and it has to be addressed asap.

                            Don’t think we’ll panic though.
                            Are we winning?

                              I agree.

So what does "panic" look like? Getting in a couple of average players with good engines and decent fitness records would not be the long-term solution but would improve us this season, so is that panic or not?

We tried that before. Ben WhatshisName signed from the lower leagues and that chap from Juve. They haven’t featured at all. Typical behaviour of panic buying because “we need 1 or 2 right now”.
