Thought similar, technically good on the ball. Potential 10 behind the front three to help bridge the gap between midfield and the service to the strikers maybe...

We've not had someone to play that role since Coutinho left... think in time Carvalho will also work there...

Pretty sure Diaz was Manes replacement signed early and Gakpo is Firminos.

Not sure where this leaves Nunez, but we have options to mix it up.

Still means we bough three forwards this season when we needed a midfielder

Not to say he’s lazy. Off the ball work just may not been a big requirement of him at his previous club.

Just saying it’s a departure for us to sign a forward who has neither already demonstrated that he has a knack for the off the ball stuff, nor has great speed.

He's been here 5 minutes and everyone is judging him already!

Looks like we will need to be patient with him, plus. He's basically joined at the worst possible time.

"Here's your team mates, they are all either knackered or injured. We are playing ****, so you wont get that customary 5 weeks to learn how we play. how we play is changing every week anyway as all the other teams read Peps book.

Oh yeah - FYI - the guy we got last Jan was instantly epic, so no pressure.

Plus - dont ever go online now those ****ers were miserable even when we were winning

                ....Welcome to Liverpool YNWA"

Hard to say really because we made a number of changes at once.

That was Dalglish's superpower. An absolute Arsemaster.

I don't like judging players so early, but he's played 5 games for us and I have no idea what position he'll play or what his strengths and weaknesses are. Hopefully he will come good and develop and when we have something resembling our strongest team available it will become apparent.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A bit difficult to say in a team which is a rebuild in progress. Need maybe next year to answer this I think.
                              Are we winning?
