The Germans are good but inexperienced. Not really challenging our midfield pivot. Saying that, when pressed, Mac and TAA are getting the ball out nicely which puts them on the back foot, so they don't push so hard next attack.

Diaz is looking on fire whereas Jota a little reserved in terms of his usual pressing.

Doak is exciting but very raw, if he can learn to release the ball sooner then he'll be an effective sub

Not a bad 1st 1/2. I’m impressed with Bradley , Doak loves to beat his man but I’d love to see him lay it off occasionally instead of trying to score every time. Jota, Diaz & Gakpo look ready for the new season already.
