All over 4-4. Good work-out, good first half, a bit out of shape in the second half leading to some pretty calamitous goals. But if we're fielding that second half defence and midfield in a proper game something will have gone badly wrong somewhere so all good.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

He scores two & sets Mo up for another & you bring that upOriginally posted by BigChief View PostOh man Nunez.
Practically open goal and he searches out the goalie's foot with his header instead of burying that. Normally it means feck all in preseason but it's Nunez and you can't help wonder...!
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I thought Nunez had a great game otherwise. But that "winning goal" he should have given us, he didn't. Let's hope that was the anomaly this time, unlike last season.Originally posted by SB View PostHe scores two & sets Mo up for another & you bring that up
Jota also missed an open goal in the first half but I have no worries with him.One tit for another.

Bit of negative bias going on there...ignore the fact he's scored twice, assisted once and in general had a pretty effective half of football and instead focus on that incident in particular and wonder if Nunez has got it?Originally posted by BigChief View PostOh man Nunez.

Salah and Jota both missed easy opportunities as well, do we need to worry about them too?

it was unlucky too, can’t really fault nunez for that one. What I loved about his 2 goals was how composed he was for both. I feel like last season he’d have just smashed both them at the keeper. Obviously it’s not the same pressure in preseason, but hopefully a sign of things to come this season.
I don't tip
