I think that result papers over the cracks a bit. We played well in short spells. But, Chelsea were pretty poor as well and we only had two shots on target all match. Defensively we are pretty shocking and that's a settled back four.

Quite simply, it's been a good long while since we've looked like a team. This can't be all about the personnel. Going to be a long, hard season.

Was out and about so missed the first half but from the second half the standard of refereeing is as **** as ever even if they are finally clamping down on all the tedious petulance and dissent, one shot on target over 90 minutes just isn't good enough, and we really need a right back because TAA needs dropping.

It's hard to judge. After the Salah disallowed goal, we were horrendous.

I'd like to see us with Gakpo up front, MacAllister further forward, and playing with a proper DM.

Based on today's performance, it looked like the same old systematic issues, which is concerning coming off a full season and a full pre-season.

Thankfully, we have a home game against Bournemouth next.
