I do think we’d look a lot better with Mac Allister higher and a proper DM in place.

Lots on build on, in my view. Mac and Sobbo had a good debuts, a DM will have a knock on effext to the team. I'm concerned about Robbo though.

I'll be honest, I haven't got a clue what our tactics are. Looked like we were trying to play the old 4-3-3 but it didn't really work. Macallister looked good in midfield but Gakpo and Dom looked lost (Jones and Elliott looked better).

I'm comparing to how poor he was last season, one step at a time. First game of the season, I'm not trying to be hysterical. Trying to see what we can build on.

same mate and it looks like the players haven't got a clue either. It's a mess and it's exactly what I expected us to be when we don't have the players to play that formation.

Each to their own, he worked hard I suppose but beyond that imo had a stinker and didn't know where to go or what to do. He wasn't alone in fairness.

We're playing square pegs in round holes and since last season we still haven't worked Trent out IMO. Shape is a shambles and I've no confidence Klopp will sort it out, we've had these problems for a long time.
