Yeah all the change and trying to implement it too quickly is a real issue but the drop off was happening at the end of the season before all the outgoings and new signings. So far this season we have played 10 games including the Charity Shield & although we are top of the league.. we have had a lot of luck, relied on individual brilliance & haven't put together a good 90 mins in any of the games. We are being out worked & out fought and clearly teams are targeting that space between the midfield and fullbacks. Any team with pace or aggression seems to do well against us and create a lot of chances. It's something we are not used to seeing at LFC.

There are top players that just haven't got going & new players look lost but there is something off about the way the team in playing with and without the ball. The press is non existent without the ball & the tempo and fluidity is way off when we are in possession so when we are side to side lazy passing, tams can get back easily to setup. In short, we just look very uncomfortable as a team. New players coming in, old players leaving, new players not suiting the setup, old players not performing to their best. I'm sure it's a bit of everything but we are a bit vulnerable at the moment and this needs to be sorted asap to stop the rot. I do wonder if Slot will go back to basics, imo he should but for sure this is the first time since being at LFC that he is truly under the microscope.

Arne what the are you doing man? We are all over the place. Bizarre tactics and subs

Not covering himself in glory at the moment. Our performance level is poor, we're negative, slow and have no width, the team selections look to be grasping at straws because the lineup makes little difference, and the subs are a mess. Two midfielders in defence, wtf?

And if we'd kept Kostas, he'd be our best left back.

The fullback areas are ****ed, Bradley is average, Frimpong can't defend, Robbo is cooked and Kerkez looks like Alberto Moreno reincarnate.

We couldn't get a shot on goal so Slot goes for a hail mary putting with cms in defence and leaving centre of the pitch wide open.

Utterly bizarre stuff altogether, not only are we all over the shop everywhere... we are terrible to watch.

It’s all baffling. His decision making is all over the place.

Appreciate we have a load of new players but there’s zero chemistry in this team.

Clearly doesn’t fancy Frimpong at RB and Bradley is doing little to stake a claim there himself.

Kerkez was very good at Bournemouth but he’s still a kid and this is a huge step up for him. Either ease him in or let him play through it, being subbed each week helps nobody.

            Konate needs dropping for Gomez.

Ekitike is brilliant but plays in the same areas as Isak. He doesn’t know what to do with Wirtz.

A lot of brilliant players but the team isn’t working and Slot doesn’t look like he knows how to fix it.

Slot is very attacking and I love that about him (it's refreshing). I'm not going to give him stick for it. The Robbo sub was off for me. Same for people calling for Gomez rather than Konate. Be careful for what you wish for.

Konate has been ****e all season. No harm in wanting (or wishing) to mix it up and give Gomez a run.

Not if the twist is worse. Leoni would have been in this team by now if it wasn't for that shocking injury. Gomez would be worse than Konate for sure.

It’s not for sure though is it.

Arnes last two interviews have not been good. Looks a bit lost to be honest.

In August the talk was "we've just won the transfer window and can't wait to see Slot's plan for them". Turns out the new plan is the old plan with some new players awkwardly shoehorned into it. Was there some kind of communication break down between Richard Hughes and Arne Slot, did slot have second thoughts, did we just scout badly? Something went wrong, you don't buy two attacking fullbacks and a £100m+ number 10 for a side that doesn't play with attacking fullbacks or a number 10.

makes you think who wanted these signings because it looks like we've bought players that don't fit into a system the manager wants to play. It doesn't add up. Why is Grav playing further forward after having a worldie season playing deep.. it's ridiculous and leaving us wide open especially that MacAllister is having a nightmare.

I think heitinga is a loss. That guy who managed rangers doesn't seem to offer much so far other than expertise in Turkish football and that insight didn't work out

Having all those attacking players on, Szoboszlai at RB, Gravenberch at CB is fine but with that attacking a lineup you need to be controlling the game otherwise you are going to get exposed. In the latter stages of the game we had our two best midfielders in defence with Jones, Wirtz and MacAllister (then Endo for the last 5 plus stoppage time) in midfield. I know some don't rate him but Jones is fine, Wirtz and MacAllister have been out of sorts this season and Endo with all due respect isn't first team quality. That's not the midfield that you want to try and control a game with when you have an attacking side with players out of position. We struggled to control the game with our strongest midfield, so IMO that was an odd one.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm not convinced he knows what he's doing.

'Same ****e for an hour and then panic' is not pattern that instills confidence. Whatever his plan is, there is zero evidence of it working, and if he doesn't change it now there will be trouble ahead. The squad is too good to put up with this rubbish.
