Thanjk you.

We're ****ing **** and the players look like they're having no fun at all.
They all need some big Jurg hugs
"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
I'm not one to say we need a new manager, but slots refusing to change his tactics and for some reason loves playing without a pressing midfield. I dont see the point. If he keeps it up we need to get rid of him. The titles gone to his head. He thinks hes a tactical genius who can do no wrong.
It stinks of a manager on his last legs doesn't it, over explaining things and trying to make excuses. Alot of people are saying he ll get to the end of the season because he has money in the bank from the league win or that we won't change mid season but it depends on just how bad it gets. We are in crisis mode here make no mistake about it and I won't be surprised if he plays the same under performing players, in the same ineffective setup vs Villa. If he does that and we don't win, I think he's cooked. He has to do something different and be willing to show that he can pivot..otherwise it just looks like he doesn't know what to do.
Yeah it’s not just this season, even towards the end of last season something changed and we have been ****, all I’m hearing now is excuses, the players look like they’re not 100% on board with the system and that’s enough to fall short in this league. I was one of his biggest admirers but I honestly don’t see a way out of this for him.
I'm starting to wonder if he lost the dressing room. It makes no logical sense how all this top talent are playing so **** at the same time. Maybe one or two or three but everyone apart from Szob has looked a shadow of themselves and not only that... they are not showing any heart or desire which is the real worry.
I think his comments about squad size were specifically about this game in this competition. Our second 11 doesn't have the experience and names of the likes of city and probably Chelsea, so we play teenagers in the league cup, I don't think it was a general whinge about the squad.
I also don't think going out of the league cup to pl opponents moves the dial much in terms of pressure on the manager from within the club.
Frank T Tank mentioned him a few weeks ago and I'll ask the same to you as I did to him,
Has Iraola ever had to unpick a low block? We are cursed in the respect that probably more than half of the teams in the PL are set up to exploit the rest that push forward. Switch roles and these guys will also struggle. Arsenal would be nowhere near the top if they didn't score so many goals from corners. Last night we recycled the ball constantly between defence and the goalie, at no time was there an outlet for a quick counter
I'm asking without actually knowing the answer to the problem.

He's under pressure but equally he deserves a chance to change tactics and turn things around. The amount of losses so far is pretty bad though and he does look like he's struggling with the pressure now.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Could be a lot closer to happening than people think imo.
Wouldn’t be surprised if there was some discussions on the peripheries, he was very complimentary about Edwards in that interview which I was pleasantly surprised about.
If he did come back I’d like it to be as head coach rather than manager, imo he burned out from too many responsibilities when he was here.

Yep, neither would I.
And yep would not be surprised with that either.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

He's definitely feeling the pressure, that much is evident. He's basically said that the squad is isn't big enough but that's on him and the sporting director and his team for not getting enough cover in. He is correct also in that we're missing a lot through injuries but even with those back, it sounds like he's making excuses.
He's going to be in serious trouble if we lose on the weekend.
We have what 22 senior players at the moment plus the likes of Rio, Nyoni, and Bajcetic who are the next tier down but have little to no first team experience. That 22 also includes players who he doesn't really trust to start games (Endo, Chiesa) and a 3rd choice GK. A number of us were highlighting that lack of numbers at the start of the season as potentially being a problem.
At the moment we have about 4 injuries and probably at least as many who are woefully off form or haven't adapted to the club/league yet
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I agree that he deserves the chance to turn this around. Every manager has these patches when nothing seems to come off and the luck seems to constantly go against you
Difference this time is he doesn’t have a long track record to point to, and limited experiences of coming out of situations like these, so every decision and performance is picked apart
I’m with many of the posters here that it’s not clear exactly what we are trying to achieve or what our way home is, I just remember we also had these periods under Klopp at times
