Has he ever really dealt with a crisis before in his career? It feels a bit like what City were going through last season, where they just went to **** for a period and Guardiola didn't seem to know how to sort it out other than get his cheque book out. How does Slot handle a crisis?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The biggest worry for me is that on top off losing 6 out of 7 games we relied on some pretty late goals to rescue some poor performances in the games before it so the signs were there. We all thought the signs were that we’d improve through those teething moments but we’ve got worse.

In terms of solid performances I’d say Arsenal, Frankfurt and large part of the Athletico game. Everton we were decent enough and most of the game v Bournemouth though that began the signs of teams just running over the top of us.

I’m genuinely worried for Slot. He needs a monster performance on Saturday to get everyone back onside. It’s huge.

Arsenal is the only game we approached the same way as last season and we were very solid defensively in that game. It took a special free kick to win but we all know how good Arsenal are when it comes to defending. Kerkez was also very good in that game. And Wirtz came on in the second half and play pretty well.

Arsenal and Newcastle were probably the only teams we've played that took the game to us, so the only times that we have found space to attack

What a ****in stupid comment from Slot. If that’s the way he feels, why did he let the likes of Elliot/Morton go so…

                        Come home Jurgen, ffs.

I think he's too honest in press conferences, sometimes it's interesting to hear what he has to say but when he's under the microscope like this just come out snd do the minimum required, "We weren't good enough" "We put a young team out tonight to give players a experience, their experience shone through and they won the game" together dragged into deep discussions or comparisons with other sides.

He's definitely feeling the pressure, that much is evident. He's basically said that the squad is isn't big enough but that's on him and the sporting director and his team for not getting enough cover in. He is correct also in that we're missing a lot through injuries but even with those back, it sounds like he's making excuses.

He's going to be in serious trouble if we lose on the weekend.

                              He's done IMO

Starting to wheel out the usual bull**** excuses managers make when they're clinging on by the skin of their sack.

Villa will spank us on the weekend, Madrid will torch us and then City will smell proper blood and a mortal combat style "finish him" move on this bald fraud

I’m not sure if you’ve seen the “league table” of the last 20 or so games, we are miles behind. We’ve not been great since the second half of last season outside of a few games (PSG home, Spurs are the two I remember). We built a massive lead and teams starting adjusting how they played vs us and we stumbled over the line. We said it was tiredness but I’m not sure tbh…hindsight eh
