He could have beaten Forest and Arsenal but yeah, not much more!

I only found out yesterday he is living here alone currently, wife and kids still living in the Netherlands, what a life!!
Hope he gets that sorted asap, can be lonely working away fulltime from home unless he has some of his staff living with him.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

He's so good with the media. I've watched a lot of the PCs and post match interviews and he's pitch perfect.

Quarter of the season gone and I'm extremely impressed.

His in game management and subtitutions have been impeccable (Forest notwithstanding). He even drops the odd presser/post match interview swear like all good foreign managers do

It’s been an amazing start, given the volume of games it’s all about recovery and prep for the next one. This means we have little to no “training time” I.e. where Slot can coach his system more and more. I do think that given we are 10 games in now that other coaches are getting more used to us and have started to counter act it better - we’ve not been as fluid the last few games.

As the others have said, I also really like his public persona. He seems very unflustered and has that Dutch directness about him which will be a big change for the players.

It will be interesting to see how he navigates us through to the end of December. With all of those games and some tough ones in there too.

It will also be very interesting to see how he gets on with any new signings either in Jan or more likely next summer. He has done wonders so far though. Defensively we look better, he has made Gravenberch become a first 11 player and the likes of Diaz, Gakpo and Salah look great.

Would be brilliant if he could get the best out of Szoboslai because we'd have a genuine monster on our hands then

Conversely, he hasn't worked out how to play through teams like Brighton or Forest yet. It will come.

Any learning isn’t done “all at once”, it’s typically layered and practiced, repeating drills make it natural . I’m sure Slot has his plan but hasn’t had the opportunity to build reps via practice, it will come but we’ve double weeks until March now

I dont think he can help it when we collectively have a **** performance. Those games where players just cannot pass the ball 10 yards goes beyond a tactical problem.

                    Players just have off days.

He is probably not the inspirational style of Klopp either. But then I hope he does not go full Benitez where he alienates players.

He has some time to finess the team.

Brighton? I'd give them more credit than that.

And surely slot has played low block teams before. Not with this team obvs.

Brighton are not a low block team. They had more possession than we did on Saturday.
                        Oh I don't know.

Brighton are a very good side who can cause any team problems, we've beaten them home and away.

He's a good manager our Slot. Just isn't that charismatic. I think he'll do well here and be loved. Could win the title in his first season. Any-one up for that?
                              Really?

He def seems more on the Rafa side but maybe not as “cold”, something in the middle of Rafs and Klopp seems ideal Players have off days usually when they are not fresh (to quote Arne)…. he needs to find that balance and maybe a couple more in his circle of trust
