Piling in... calm down ladOriginally posted by Rafa Justice View PostOh Carra, oh noes.
Personally couldn't give a **** what Spitty Mr Sky Sports thinks, would rather focus on the results Slot produces.
One post match and people are piling in ffs. **** this place ffs.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Stuff that, an attack on Carragher for spouting nonsense is always welcome.
He has been too gobby by half this season with pops at Slot, Szobo and others. Man does not even have his basic coaching badges and thinks he can challenge our Lex Luthor/Kingpin hybrid.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Results have been positive. Although this isn't his team. It's klopps players and there was a point we were going for 4 trophies last season. The team is very experienced and know what they're doing.Originally posted by chadrtc View Post8 wins from 9, the best start of any new Liverpool manager ever.
I don’t think anyone predicted he’d start this well, but here we are.
Long may it continue.
It's been a good start, against a reasonably easy set of fixtures. Let's see how it goes up to Christmas with much harder tests to come. We all want him to succeed, let's hope he takes us upwards.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I think you underestimate the ob Slot had, When was the last time a genuine world class manager was replaced and it was so seamless?
I think FSG played a blinder in terms of the mentaility of the manager and how accepting he is of taking over a great team. Most of the decent managers want to stamp there own authority on a team._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

We'll see. Time will tell. I hope he goes on to lead us to trophies galore. I'm all on board the slot train. Just don't think 10 games is anyway a big enough sample to judge anyone on. We lost at home to forest and weren't unlucky. That's a flag of concern. But onwards.Originally posted by red g View PostI think you underestimate the ob Slot had, When was the last time a genuine world class manager was replaced and it was so seamless?

I’d have liked to have seen Slot try to integrate Endo or Morton a bit more. The system weve been playing with Grav and Alexis is too open.
They are looking to win the ball high up the pitch but if teams resist our press and play out we can look very vulnerable without someone there to mop up.
At the moment, this is a high risk/low reward approach as we haven’t been that effective when the high press has worked - I’d have to check the stats but I’d say we’ve been more productive when we’ve either hit teams on the break or drawn them on to us and then quickly moved the ball up the pitch.
With the fixtures starting to get much more difficult, I’d have liked us to have a more defensive setup we could use when required.

Yet, the amount of xg we are conceding is the lowest in the league and I think 30% of the xg we have conceded is after we’ve been two goals up so we took our foot off the gas a bit
I also saw this which actually shows we have been very effective when we do turn the ball over

Statistically we are actually quite healthy from both an xg created and conceded perspective but on the pitch we can see our CBs are doing well and Ali is making saves. I do like that Slot is calling that out though, he’s not singing the praises of everybody, he keeps saying there is loads to improve
