Yep, the inept officiating from Oliver and Kavanagh was punishment in itself.

What can you say about this guy. Taking a massive job, following on from Klopp no new signings, apart from Chiesa, and he does this. Credit to him and his staff for the changes they’ve made, improving everyone and keeping players fit. And to the club not going for the big name flashy option. Well done everyone.

Yeah totally agree they found the coach that suits our style that’s being taught throughout the academy levels.

2 match ban. So Slot up in the stands, instead of in the dugout. Personally, I'd love for a manager to sit there and think, "you know what, this ain't a bad view point, I can see all the pitch and it's a lot easier to see the bigger picture". Give him more liberty to say after a match "the referee was ****e, he bottled big decisions, let his ego take over and made it all about him. 3 match ban this time? Big deal, I've got an assistant, a phone and a view of the whole pitch. **** the incompetent official."

So a 70 grand fine for "confronting" officials.

So whatever the"crime" was, itr was deemed wortrhy of a pretty hefty fine but not worthy of being shown in a transparent manner so that there is a clear definition of what is punishment worthy.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

There was no crime, just a complete overreaction from Oliver. The PL are now doubling down to save more embarrassment.

So we even know what was said or is Oliver just a petty dweeb?

He admitted the charge though, so he's by definition guilty, right?
                        Oh I don't know.

All that carnage at the end of the game - Everton players taunting LFC fans, Curtis and others from both sides piling in, whatever Slot and Hulshof are supposed to have said - all of it is a direct result of incompetent officials letting a goal stand despite a clear foul.

Yet both sides get fines/bans, while those who **** up caused it all just carry on regardless.

Guilty of a firm handshake and a sarcastic "well done", by some accounts. So Oliver is just a weak individual.

Guilty of whatever he was charged with.

He probably thought it would buy some leniency, as it does in a court of law. But that's not how a kangaroo court works is it?
