He's under pressure now. It's not entirely his fault his best players are playing **** though. The drop off from virgil, macallister and salah is unreal.

Bizarre setup which doesn't seem to suit any of the players let alone the new players. Zero press instead it's 'control', which is another word for aimless, slow build up play and gaping holes in and around the midfield. We look so disconnected and uncomfortable as a team, if you could even call us that.
Serious questions have to be asked here and it's 100% down to Slot and the system we play.

It’s never good when a manager doesn’t know his best XI. There a problems throughout the lineups. We concede too easily, and though we created a lot of good chances today we are seemingly always chasing games and needing goals. The things Slot was good at; being calm wuth decisive tactics making subtle changes all seem to have evaded him.Modifying post.

I think we all knew it was going to be a long day when we seen the line up. Konate …. I’ll gladly pay for his flight to Madrid, he’s a donkey, flattered by VVD. Salah is not a starter anymore or at least needs a break, yes Gakpo scored but Hugo picking up the same positions could have scored 3. Isak is not getting any service, one through ball from Konate above all people showed what he’s about, kerkez is playing with a leash on… I do t believe Slot has turned into a **** manager all of a sudden but he needs to start making some tough decisions from here on in or this could turn ugly. There is a long long way to go this season, no need for overreaction just yet but…. Not much more room for error now.

He was average, which was an improvement on this seasons form. Not mobile enough for me, his passing and decision making is laboured. In my opinion we could do a lot better and I’m not one bit bothered if he leaves.Originally posted by Rich View PostKonate was very very good tonight, better than Virg easily.

It's really telling. Desperate stuff that's making him look like a mug when it fails.Originally posted by Rich View PostFrankly this attacking overload on sixty/seventy minutes is bananas and is showing him up to be tactically naive.
No bones about it - Slot has been awful all season.Last edited by Kenneth; 19-10-25, 07:12 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Some big decisions to make at the moment, players like Salah, Isak and MacAllister are way off form we have alternatives to them or at least other options and need to give them a go. I know Wirtz hasn't settled yet but playing two #10's and he isn't one of them is also a bit odd, particularly as an off form MacAllister is in there. With Salah and Isak off form playing sith two 10s feels like we are trying to force it create ****loads of chances and hoping to score goals Instead just bring in at least one on form forward Ekitike not starting is madnessThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's wrong to go all in Slot after that, United were incredibly fortunate from the first whistle.
He does however need to earn his coin and get the most effective players on the pitch which is very clearly not happening at the moment.
Hopefully this is the tipping point that gives him the balls to do what most of us know needs to happen.

Don't forget his pet favourite: Gakpo. We are poor with Salah and Gakpo on either side. Regardless of the goals they may score.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostSome big decisions to make at the moment, players like Salah, Isak and MacAllister are way off form we have alternatives to them or at least other options and need to give them a go. It's entirely the fault of him and his team. He coasted the Klopp wave last season and now it seems apparent that he's struggling to know how to coach someone who wasn't previously coached by Klopp. Just my opinionOriginally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostHe's under pressure now.
