Slot did brilliantly last season tweaking the team and it's set up. Players like Gravenberch grew under him and Slot's in game tactics changed many a result in our favour. The team that won the league was very much Slot's team. He deserves as much credit for that league title as he does the criticism for his share of what is going wrong this season.

This season however, and for whatever reasons, the manager just does not seem to have the same interest or fire in him and that ability to change things tactically in a quick manner seems to be gone.

Stubborn sticking to a small pool of players is not helping either nor is not adapting our general set up to suit the players we now have.

A portion of blame goes on a number of players too as more than one player (and not talking about the new ones) has the look of going through the motions.

Now I do think the passing of Jota has done some serious damage the the club on a mental level and that players, manager, coaching staff etc have all been impacted upon to varying degrees depending on each individual, but that coupled with the sluggish passing/pressing/playing, the stubborn tactics and what not have created the perfect **** storm.
Jota's passing is tragic and will impact the pmayers. But it was clear than Salah has been on a downward 3 year cycle. Gakpo Iwas never a dribbler. We extended a injury prone right back plus a small wing back right winger to replace Trent.
We have been poor since March.
We are fans, we don't have the data and info as the backroom staff, they obviously made a lot of bad calls and should be held accountable.

makes sense actually if by "eventually" you mean "when guehi fell through."

even then, gotta wonder about our sales. letting quansah go without guehi was a mistake. diaz is a miss. i think they were kinda planning on possibly having an "off" season while the feet all get under the table (which is why i think the selection and shape have been stubborn--sticking to his guns and hoping they bed in because the numbers say this is the best team on paper and it's only a matter of time, yadda yadda...) so maybe this was expected a bit, but surely not like this.

He tried to hold Konate when he came off to explain something to him and konate just kept trying to push past him. He might be playing **** but he clearly has zero respect for slot, which is probably the same for half the team.

He looks utterly broken in his interview. It’s clearly over.

Luis Diaz played 36 league games last season and Gakpo played 12. We kept Gakpo He's a decent footballer but he's very limited, but he's now a third of our attack, and the hapless Salah is another third. You can't play 433 if you don't have 3 top attackers playing on form. We have to change formation, there is no choice.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

could work with ekitike and wirtz. in fact no matter what our formation is, those are the three we want playing together i think.

oh also, i'm sure it was more of an age consideration with the left wing situation. to be fair, gakpo was a goal machine for a minute.

The girl just asked him where do you go from here, referencing the coming games, and had no sensible answer. Just some gibberish about how we were better in the first half. It’s done. He’s cooked.

Respect him for what he did last season but the drop off is next level. That’s a massive worry and when he shows no signs of knowing how to fix it and refusing to try something different and using other players isn’t a good sign.

When things are going well isn’t always a good way to judge what the manager has. When it’s tough and you really have to show leadership and a way to fix it is when the true signs come out and right now he doesn’t look like he has that. He’s never had this type of situation and it’s showing.

Bring in someone with experience who will make the big decisions and not play favourites.

And we, the very same fans, were for the most part over the moon with our transfer business in the summer with the only caveat for most being we needed more than one CB, something we did try to do.

We can't have it both ways and be calling our backroom guys amazing when it looks to be going our way, and looking for their heads when we are in a really awful run of form.

We can say this is not good enough for Liverpool, we can trot out lines about existing to win trophies or what not, but the reality of our current situation is we are now getting a real taste of what 75% of fanbases have to endure on a far more regular basis and because we have been fortunate enough to have had "bad" seasons in the past that would be good seasons for a hell of a lot of clubs, we are now, imo of course, not prepared as a fanbase to handle this sort of sustained failure on the pitch.

What I am pretty certain of is that the club, the manager, coaching staff, players and the fanbase need to get their collective **** together and realise that being divided in the face of what we are facing is a very good way of ensuring things get a lot worse.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

He was smirking when he came off against Nottingham. I assumed it was because he's seen the tactic of taking him off in favour of another attacker go badly game after game.
