I think if Klopp is gettable and also agreeable to coming back as manager, then things will happen very fast.
However if we want any other top manager or even very good manager, then there will be no fast change unless Slot wants to fall on his sword. But even if he does offer to resign it might not be acceppeted due to the lack of an available quality replacement.
Even if we wanted to get in an interim manager, it would still have to be someone with a good track record and not some punt.

You cant lose this many games and not show any signs of turnting it round. Plus, we’re not just losing any more we are getting absolutely hosed.
Reputstionally you can turn round a bad run, and retain credibility like if you’ve lost three out of four… but what are we at…??? Ten loses in 12 a we are absolutely bleeding out. This had been going on for months now. I reckon he’s gone if we lose to West Ham.
This is our worst run since the 1950’s.Modifying post.

Diaz started 28 and made 8 sub appearances, Gakpo started 23 and made 12 sub appearances in the PL. When both started Diaz played through the middle and Gakpo on the left. I agree with the point that he's limited and Diaz offered something different and more dynamic but the stats are wrongOriginally posted by Kenneth View PostLuis Diaz played 36 league games last season and Gakpo played 12. We kept Gakpo
He's a decent footballer but he's very limited, but he's now a third of our attack, and the hapless Salah is another third. You can't play 433 if you don't have 3 top attackers playing on form. We have to change formation, there is no choice. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Oh yeah, I totally misread the statsOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostDiaz started 28 and made 8 sub appearances, Gakpo started 23 and made 12 sub appearances in the PL. When both started Diaz played through the middle and Gakpo on the left.
Sorry about that. I would say that my point still stands, but I can't because that totally undermines it.

I can only speak for myself. I wanted Salah gone and I never thought Gakpo was top class. I was a huge fan if the Kerkez, Wirtz, Hugo and Isak signing .Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostAnd we, the very same fans, were for the most part over the moon with our transfer business in the summer with the only caveat for most being we needed more than one CB, something we did try to do.
We can't have it both ways and be calling our backroom guys amazing when it looks to be going our way, and looking for their heads when we are in a really awful run of form.
We can say this is not good enough for Liverpool, we can trot out lines about existing to win trophies or what not, but the reality of our current situation is we are now getting a real taste of what 75% of fanbases have to endure on a far more regular basis and because we have been fortunate enough to have had "bad" seasons in the past that would be good seasons for a hell of a lot of clubs, we are now, imo of course, not prepared as a fanbase to handle this sort of sustained failure on the pitch.
What I am pretty certain of is that the club, the manager, coaching staff, players and the fanbase need to get their collective **** together and realise that being divided in the face of what we are facing is a very good way of ensuring things get a lot worse.
The lack width is massive choke points for us. Diaz was a way better all-round player than Gakpo and Salah last season. I can understand the players we brought in, but the wide player situation is very confusing. The amateur eye could see that.

Pretty sure a lot of the amateur eyes thought that by bringing in two number nines and a number ten that we would be moving away from winger providing the width and looking towards full backs for it.
The way we bought certainly suggested that.
Was only when the season started that the situation out wide started to become baffling and more and more so with each game.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

It’s relegation form with players not showing enough fight and a manager with no signs of turning it around. You could tell PSV believed they could get a win tonight. Everyone will come at us knowing they can beat us and get a good win and score a few too.
The opposition don’t have any fear against this team and they smell the blood. He can’t stay or the season is about survival rather than trying to get European football for next season or trying to do something in the CL.
There will be a lot more big losses if he stays around.
