Most people, myself included were delighted with our business, even before Isak was signed. But that was coupled with an expectation that we would see a new way of playing. I don't think anybody was looking at the signings and expecting to see Kerkes barely leaving his half, Szobo at RB, and Gakpo as a first choice left forward. We bought wingbacks, we expected wingbacks. We bought a number 10 for over 100m, we expected to play with a number 10. It was exciting, waiting to see the new game plan in action, and it never came.

That is baffling as **** to me. Kerkez and Frimpong are attacking fullbacks Frimpong has barely played but we aren't playing to Kerkez strengths. Wirtz looked a good player, but I'm not sure we needed him, and it now looks like we don't know what to do with him.

Biggest problem for me at the moment with the new signings is that they aren't physical or hardworking enough Isak, Ekitike, Wirtz, don't look like putting the hard yards in, Salah has been excused defensive duties, add in Gakpo and you have half a team you wouldn't want next to you in a battle.

I feel the Slot set a bad precedent in allowing Salah off defensive duties as the new guys come in an think, if he doesn't have to work why should I, you need your senior players to set an example.

Among the many issues Slot has to fix, is how does he with any credibility keep putting the (more or less) same team out. If I was sat on the belench week after week when we are losing ****ing TEN out of 12 games I’d be having a word as to why I’m not getting a look in.

Arnes biggest flaw since he signed for us is that he had only ever trusted a core group of players.

Now we see what happens when they don’t deliver.

We then have no depth as the players on the bench have had basically zero minutes or have gotten thrown on when we are three down and the formation is ****ed.

That then becomes endemic the volume of issues has become unmanageable because the person who needs to fix the issues is the one who created them.

I know the players need to be held accountable as well but when only two players could be considered to be performing how do you look at it. Dom is performing and Ekitike is the only new player performing.

How can so many players drop their levels of performance and all at the same time. It’s not like one or two are out of form the whole squad has gone to ****.

The new players don’t look like they know their roles and what to do. I saw a clip with someone talking about Wirtz and showing him defending and he didn’t know when to press or where to be. His defensive stats from Leverkusen were excellent.

You could say the whole team doesn’t know what they’re meant to be doing this season. That’s down to the manager and his coaches. The message isn’t getting across or the team isn’t buying into it.

Would love Ancelotti to come in. Exactly the experience the club needs right now who will figure out a system to get the best out of the squad and has the man management ability to work with all of them.

He has to drop Salah. Worse than playing with 10 men because they keep passing it to him and he keeps losing the ball but does nothing to help the team defensively.

100% he does. I’m not sure at this stage if Slot is clueless sticking with him or if there’s any truth in the rumour that Salahs contract included playing time conditions, which I’m sure is BS but it’s the only reason he’d keep playing him while in this form. I honestly can’t wait for AFCON to see what we look like in attack.

As desperate as people are to drop Salah and 100% I’m up for trying anything v to change it up - it’s the keystone lips defending that is even more of a worry for me.

Every single chance we concede is a goal. It’s effortless for other teams to score against us. I’d say sticking with a back four that doesn’t work an centre back pairing where Konate is now staging Virgil down with him and is putting the team under absolutely incredible amounts of pressure has to change.

But ultimately (and as much as I do like him) the main thing that has to change is the leader. I reckon he gets West Ham and if that doesn’t turn into a remarkable winning run (and even if we win it won’t) then he is toast.
