Saying you have the support of the owners and players is fine, but don't try to gaslight the fans. You'll just antagonise them further, it's quite obvious.

I feel complete backing of the fans, is just an insane quote IMO.

They have precedent for this unfortunately - there was a 6-1 embarrassment in Stevie G's last ever game following a disastrous season in 2014/15.

We all know there was a "one for me, one for FSG" approach to recruitment that summer (which was just odd, it ended up with Firmino being played out of position and Ben-****ing-teke). That momentum of form carried on until October 2015, and the were lucky enough to get Klopp in.

We aren't going to be that lucky again. Reset required.

Liverpool face Fulham this weekend before a decisive second leg against PSG, with a challenging run of fixtures ahead that could further test support for the manager.

After Tuesday’s second leg against PSG, Liverpool face a first trip to Everton’s new stadium, a fixture that will only increase the pressure on Arne Slot. A tough run follows, with league trips to Old Trafford and Villa Park, as well as a home clash against fifth-placed Chelsea.

C&P obvs but we could have a seriously grim end to the season.

Imagine losing to everton and utd. Absolute pitch forks by then.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Think the biggest thing this week is Wednesday 15th.

Yes winning the games are important and would be a nice tribute, but pales in significance to Wednesday.

I reckon if we lose today & Wednesday he’s gone
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He definitely deserves to be sacked if we're losing on days we are not playing

All the noise coming from the club suggests there is no chance of him being sacked, even if lose all remaining games!

They are not going to drop hints. He will end up staying till the end of the season, then it will be "mutual consent" but we will all know.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

All this talk about Slot going and Alonso being the one to come in, I'd take Iraeola. Plays great football, teams work hard/well drilled and seems very good tactically. He deserves his chance to step up and will get it sooner or later.

He’s done really well this season considering they lost their first choice keeper and 3 of their first choice back 4.

Can't really fault his time at Bournemouth, seems a good guy, they play exciting football, work ethic and considering they've got gutted, somehow managed to replace players and not have a drop off in terms of results. He's going to be snapped up by someone that's for sure.
