Defensive injury issues are my worry and our form of not trying to strengthen the squad when it's creaking.

Absolute minimum we should be doing is getting Nat Phillips back but I fear that Endo is going to be deployed as a utility defender

Well intensity is a word Slot uses so it's now ok again.

I know we like to conserve energy but only on occasion did we make our way up the pitch with speed. We need another strong runner in midfield to allow Grav or Szob to have a rest. Jones is good for certain matches but that's two games in a row that he's looked slow and underwhelming.

I expect big changes for the squad on Saturday anyway, so it should really impact their performance.

Surely a team of our U21s should be able to cope with Saturday's opposition?

Having said that, I'd include players who need minutes but won't get many against Forest...so Jaros, Elliott, Morton, and Chiesa. Then I'd add an experienced player as captain.
