    **** sake

Are you really moaning about us winning the title on a Sunday?

Four wins and a draw you say?

            Fulham vs Liverpool (W)
            Liverpool vs West Ham (W)
            Leicester vs Liverpool (W)
            Liverpool vs Tottenham (W)
            Chelsea vs Liverpool (D)

            and then......

            Liverpool vs Arsenal

Champions guard of honour at Anfield anyone?

I really really am desperate to see that

Hopefully they'll have a bit more class than City who were a disgrace
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

There have been other seasons when the league winner finished on 90+ points with no other team coming close, like the 2017/18 season when City finished 19 points ahead of second place, but nobody was shouting about that being a weak league. The narrative was all about City being better.

There are a number of similar examples over the past decade or so of a team winning the title by 6 point, often much more, and the talk was always about how great the winner must have been to be so dominant in the best league in the world.

We had our runaway season in 2019/20 and there was talk of a weak league.

Now we are miles ahead again this season and the weak league talk has resurfaced.

Just seems funny that it is only a weak league when we are strong, but when we go through a transition type season nobody is saying the league is weaker or easier when we are not challenging whoever is on top.
A good take on it here, albeit from a biased source.

This had me rolling on the floor laughing. Mr Pink's post has to go down as the ultimate first-world footie fan problem! Just chuck a sickie FFS - everyone will understand.

Reminds me of the day after the 2005 CL final. I was heading to work with a sore head, somehow missed the exit for the office and ended up in Liverpool for the parade. I live in Aberdeen

The 2005 CL final was the 25th May, so the last day of the season is the 20th anniversary of that amazing night. Would be good to get the old squad back to celebrate that before KO, get everyone in the ground early and the place will be buzzing.

Appreciate it's difficult to say, but does anyone know theoretically when the league will likely be wrapped up? My missus needs to book the day off well in advance that's all so we can go out and celebrate. Appreciate we're jumping ahead of ourselves a bit lol

Arsenal only able to get a point at Everton.

Surely a few more doubters now become believers?

Well that happened quicker than I thought.

                              Two more wins then.
