Man United home Sunday 5th Jan 430pm

Hopefully we’ll be alright without Gomez but that injury does leave us short at the back. I’d be tempted to start Tsimikas for this one. Robbo does not fill me with confidence any more.

Szoboszlai comes back in in place of Curtis for me. Otherwise same as last night.

    Ali

    Trent Quansah Virg Tsimi

    Szobo Gravenberch Macca

    Mo Diaz Cody

Not sure who will be on the bench as cover for Trent & the 2 CB’s. Endo is one, Morton is another & I suppose Nallo .
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

After this is Spurs away in the LC on Wednesday then Accrington at home in the FA on Saturday.

These 3 points are more important so need to go strong.

The current version of Robbo is still a better LB than Timi.

      Robbo is starting this one.

Jones for Szobo would be the only position I would differ with on as there is a week's "rest" before the game.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Slot suggested hamstring and weeks out on first look.

Seeing alot of the LFC accounts on twitter saying we are going to smash them, while I obviously hope this is true, we need to remember this will be a difficult game and remember what happened last year. I would be happy with the 3 points however they come.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I’m usually pessimistic against united but I think we will rip them a new one, should be on sky sports x rated.

When we were gash, this was our cup final and derailing them is all we had. We play unemotional football under Slot and that will help us here, a cold clinical performance is what we need

We are definitely capable of smashing them.but be wary the wounded beast.

Our GD is healthy so it’s the three points that matter.
