Let's hope the advisory meeting can't be held tomorrow because of snow so they can't cancel the game.
    One tit for another.

I'll be well annoyed if the match is cancelled, as it's a guaranteed 3 points at this stage.

That being says, the Arsenal result will soften the blow a bit.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I found a £30 Travelodge in Warrington and travelled up last night to avoid any traffic issues. It's slushy snow and raining at the moment. Can't see it being called off at all. Unless the advisory group are all Evertonians

What is the guidance for cancelling games nowadays for snow? In the 90's/00's went to PL games in a couple of inches of snow on the streets and around the grounds. Also went to Chsmpionship / League 1 games or equivalent level where they cleared snow from 18 yard boxes and the lines and played like that, in those days if the pitch weren't frozen it was fine.

Obviously times have changed health and safety of the players has become more important, and I'm not saying it's a bad thing although the increase in the amount of football being played means postponed games could cause other issues for players and clubs, but I'm just trying to figure out when the transition occurred? Is the threshold weather warnings now?

About the same time folk became social media drama queens. The amount of snow that once had you just grabbing a shovel to clear a footpath now is deemed an OMG world stopping moment.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I live in Norway at the moment - that wouldn’t be stopping any football games here

We aren’t prepared for snow the same way though
