We have more than that over here right now and it’s BaU - I guess no winter tyres makes it more dangerous if driving to the game

Down by the Colonades/Strand street it is meant to be melting fast and easy to get about on.

Imagine the uproar if the UK government bought 1,000 snow ploughs for that day once a year that England gets a bit of snow.

Perhaps they'll delay the match for an hour or so to allow late arrivers? Makes far more sense than postponing the match.

Are they talking about cancelling it due to the pitch conditions or due to people having to travel to the stadium?
            I don't tip

It 's more about safety outside and around the stadium. Any insurance liability is their concern. I doubt they care about traffic on the M6 or trains from London. Inside the stadium and the pitch is fine.

How many of the 60,000 going to the game will need to travel? I would imagine a large percentage, thus they'll be concerned for fans welfare. The pitch won't be any concern.

Pitch will be fin, it’s on safety grounds regarding the surrounding area, which will also be fine by all accounts.

Our match against Liverpool is set to still go ahead at this stage, despite snow and weather warnings in the North West today.

                            Sounds like they are delighted.

Agreed the pitch should be fine. They have had 2 -3” of snow max and it is melting fast. My folks are in the city region and when I checked their Ring doorbell the snow was starting to fall off the cars already.

The motorway network is running fine and Liverpool & Manchester airports have reopened and all the motorways seem to be running ok.

It will be a joke if they cancel it!

Just grit the area around the stadium.
