The two full backs were really solid. Defensively there wasn't a poor performance amongst the defenders/keeper.

Everton must be really rubbish if we scored out winnter after 29 minutes

Think we just about deserved that, Everton came back strong and made it difficult. We didn’t help ourselves with some really sloppy play, Jones made a big difference as Alexis was starting to look really suspect again.

That second half was probably as good as I can remember Everton playing in recent years

Everton don't look a bad side. They played reasonably well and will cause other teams trouble.

The stream is now showing highlights of 2019 derby at home,
Origi with the first, great pass from mane.
                        Second from shakiri.
Origi with a magnificent 3rd, amazing pass from lovren.
Mane with the 4th on the break.
                        Wijnaldum with the 5th.
                        5-2... angry birds
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Faded massively in that game and we lost complete control of that second half, especially once they scored. Everton played well and Grealish is a good player and a tricky customer. We will improve as well I'm sure, some tough games already.

After the grey mist of watching the game left me I thought about exactly this. They are much better under Moyes and hopefully they’ll cause our title rivals problems as well

We were brilliant when fresh but Mac’s fitness struggles are continuing and Wirtz is still not getting to grips with the pace and power of the league

Frustrating game in some ways but satisfying in others.

Looked brilliant early on and ripped them up then dropped off and lost the intensity and pace they played with to start. The attack looks slick.

In saying all that for all the possession and territory they had I don’t think they really threatened apart from the goal. Felt very comfortable and they only real had Grealish doing anything in attack.

And we still look more likely to score and created other chances to add to the two goals.

You can see bits and pieces of this team getting better. The attack looks very good the defence is looking much more solid they just need to keep control and stop these sloppy lapses that are happening. I know you won’t control the whole match obviously.
